In March, our Commonwealth and community sounded the alarm: no inhumane warehousing of people in Berks or Schuylkill.
Now, ICE is backing down.
Accountability doesn’t stop here — what I witnessed in Moshannon, Philadelphia, and Dilley demands more from this administration.
We are at our best when we are engaged in our democracy.
That was clear at the Progress for the People Town Hall in Bethlehem!
Thank you the residents of the Lehigh Valley who shared their concerns about high costs, healthcare, and more. I’m heartened by such a strong commitment to our future.
Happy Father's Day!
May we reflect and thank the incredible men in our lives who, by example, teach us unconditional love, strength, and generosity.
Here’s to all the dads! ❤️
Happy Juneteenth!
In 1865, news of the Emancipation Proclamation reached the farthest corner of our nation — Galveston, Texas. Finally, in writing and in life, freedom rang.
May we always strive for our highest American ideals of freedom and justice for all.
Operation Epic Fury ends as Operation Epic Failure.
Always great and informative to meet with our Veterans Advisory Panel, including Montgomery County Veteran Affairs and the Veterans Multi-Service Center!
So many of our veterans carry a lifelong commitment to service, and we are fortunate to have their compassionate leadership in our region.
For 27 years, the Bipartisan Women’s Caucus laid a wreath for our women veterans.
This year, it was cancelled.
The generations of women who have fought, died, and sacrificed for our freedom will not be erased.
Sending the best of luck from the East Coast to L.A. for our U.S. men’s team’s first match in the World Cup — especially PA’s own Christian Pulisic! ⚽️
Go Team USA! 🇺🇸
With the school year ending, I was delighted to meet with our Student Task Force one last time.
This year, they’ve brought me such joy, hope, and reflection.
Good luck to our graduates! And wishing our brilliant students, devoted teachers, and hardworking staff a well-deserved summer! 😎
1 in 3 Pennsylvanians dropped their ACA coverage last year, and premiums are skyrocketing for hundreds of thousands more.
Yet this administration offers silence while families struggle with rising costs across the board.
It's shameful.
The House just approved Trump's $70B for ICE and Border Patrol — I voted NO.
Americans overwhelmingly oppose this extreme immigration agenda.
We cannot pretend this is business as usual.
Extreme weather doesn't choose sides — it hits everyone, including the PA farmers who feed us.
After May’s severe cold, we worked with this administration to secure recovery loans to help our farmers rebuild.

Let us all pause for a moment and imagine the bravery that carried these young men through D-Day.
Because of these heroes, the course of World War II changed — and freedom prevailed over tyranny.
May we always honor their legacy.
Yesterday I met Adam.
He loves space and is one hilarious kid.
Thanks to a gene‑therapy trial, he’s thriving and chasing big dreams – likely in comedy!
I am grateful to CHOP and Adam's family for sharing his inspiring story and highlighting the need to invest in our kids.
Last week, Berks County lost a dedicated public servant — Officer Kristen Yeager.
My prayers are with Kristen’s family, the Central Berks Regional PD, and Pikeville as they grieve this unimaginable loss.
Officer Yeager leaves a legacy of devotion to her community. May her memory be a blessing.
Always wonderful to welcome students from Berks to D.C.
Kutztown Area High School's AP government and geography students asked impressive questions about how our government works.
Their curiosity and passion bring me hope for our next generation of leaders.
