Growing my connections on BlueSky so want to re-introduce my self: My name is Robert Garcia, I’m in Congress, and I serve as President of the Freshman Class. I’m in the Progressive Caucus, love comic books, am a YIMBY, and am going to fight Trump with everything I’ve got. Please follow & share!
The RFK has Health Secretary is fucking insane. He’s a vaccine denier and a tin foil hat conspiracy theorist. He will destroy the NIH and our vaccine distribution systems. This is going to cost lives.
As we enter this second Trump presidency, these documents mean even more to me. We must stand against an authoritarian who wants to hurt immigrants and ignore our Constitution.
Most Members of Congress choose to get sworn-in on a Bible. I don’t have any issues with that choice. I chose 4 items that mean a lot to me: a copy of the Constitution, a copy of Superman #1 (a story that means a lot to me) a pic of my parents, and a copy of my citizenship papers.
Copy of citizenship papers, photo of parents, and copy of Superman comic.
Y’all, these latest numbers are insane! Derek Tran is going to beat Michelle Steel and will be in the lead by the end of the week. Get ready for Congressman Tran! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
