We deserve a Congress that’s unafraid to speak the truth and hold itself to the same standards most Americans do. It’s why I’m fighting for basic, nonpartisan ethics standards for Representatives facing cognitive decline or memory loss.
Most Democrats would rather talk about anything other than Biden’s decline and aging politicians. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez isn’t like most Democrats.
With a lapse in SRS grants, our timber communities are losing vital funding and schools. I'm fighting for Congress to act – but we also need to steward our woods and sustainably harvest timber for rural communities to have long-term success.
In our laws and legislation, a thousand words paint a picture. But sometimes a concept just can't be described without an image. After I found out there's no process to add home blueprints for veterans to a bill, my amendment passed committee to work toward including visual information in bills.
We’ve got something incredible worth fighting for in Southwest Washington. But it’s at risk if we don’t renew Secure Rural Schools grants. Speaker Johnson, bring our bipartisan bill to the floor – for our kids, our rural communities, and the future of the skilled trades.
It takes a village to get a 9-ft chainsaw across the country. But it’s worth it to show D.C. our pride in hard work, the trades, & our timber heritage. Stevenson HS is giving shop class the prestige it deserves, and this wouldn’t have been possible without the help of some truly talented students.
