Republicans can say it however they want, but we see through it — they are working to cut Medicaid and the programs millions of Americans rely on.
We can’t let them get away with it.
Republicans in the Judiciary Committee just voted to allow Trump to illegally detain and deport US citizens.
They won't even stand up for their own US citizen constituents. This is stunning.
Trump is acknowledging that he has the power to bring Kilmar Abrego Garcia home, but refuses to. All because of lies and a photoshopped image of an MS-13 tattoo.
It’s time to bring him home NOW. www.cnn.com/2025/04/30/u...
Republicans’ budget bill will slash at least $880 BILLION from Medicaid.
That’s taking away health care from one-third of Americans, 38 million kids, and nursing home coverage from five out of eight seniors.
It’s a betrayal of the middle class.
Donald Trump inherited the strongest economy in the world from Democrats. Now, he’s destroying it.
Our GDP shrank over the last three months for the first time in years — and Americans’ confidence in our economy is at the lowest level since COVID.
All because of Trump.
Here’s the beautiful thing about free speech in the United States: you get to say what you want, no matter who agrees or disagrees.
Trump had zero right to detain Mohsen Mahdawi. Today our legal system worked and he is walking free.
After two weeks of unlawful detention, Mohsen Mahdawi is now free.

🚨 BREAKING: A judge has freed Mohsen Mahdawi, the Columbia student who was detained for using his right to free speech.
This is a massive victory for the First Amendment and against Trump’s authoritarian immigration policies.
Trump’s threats to cities and local law enforcement are illegal and authoritarian.
Local governments have the right to allocate their resources. Trump cannot just go after them if they refuse to go along with his cruel campaign to kidnap and disappear people.
My full statement:
There are not words strong enough to describe the cruelty and inhumanity of this administration. We must do everything in our power to fight back. www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...
Today’s Amazon debacle is the same story we’ve seen over and over again:
Billionaires and corporate leaders caving to Donald Trump’s ridiculous demands, just because he’s pushing for a $4.5 trillion tax cut that will save them a boatload of money.
It is CRIMINAL that, in the richest country on Earth, 85 million Americans are uninsured or underinsured and 100 million struggle with medical debt.
And at the same time, private insurance companies bring in hundreds of billions in profits.
Enough is enough. We need Medicare for All.
This morning, news broke that Amazon would start displaying how much an item's cost increased because of Trump's tariffs.
Then, Trump threw a fit — and Amazon backed down.
Pathetic.

The past 100 days have been chaotic, incompetent, and unconstitutional. Trump isn’t a president for the people — he’s a wannabe dictator acting only for himself and his rich buddies.
America deserves better. You deserve better. We must do better.
Trump said he would protect Social Security and Medicare. But in reality, he’s CUTTING these programs.
He has already fired thousands of Social Security employees and closed dozens of offices, and his budget bill slashes $880 BILLION from Medicaid.
He also said he would make America more affordable for working people — but his main priority so far has been pushing through a $4.5 trillion tax cut for himself and the richest 1% while cutting the benefits you rely on.
He’s also lying more than ever.
Trump said he would “end inflation on day one,” but prices are still sky high, and they’re getting even worse thanks to his nonsensical tariffs.
Trump is acting like a dictator — because he wants to be one.
He’s cracking down on free speech, demanding that private organizations and universities end their DEI programs, and moving with impunity.
And when judges rule against him, Trump just ignores them. He did so when a judge demanded he turn around an illegal deportation flight, when courts ordered him to unfreeze funding, and even when SCOTUS directed him to return Abrego Garcia to the US.
He has no concern for the law.
