In another senseless and cruel decision, the Trump Administration recently cut funding for the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline’s specialized support services for LGBTQI+ youth and adults.
What is happening in Gaza is just wrong.
I call on the Trump Administration to condemn attacks against the civilian population.
House Republicans are shutting down the House until September to block a vote on releasing the Epstein Files.
They would rather protect President Trump than give the American people the truth.
It was great to welcome the John William Ward Public Service Fellows to the Capitol today.
I am grateful for the thoughtful questions and engaging discussions with our future leaders —I look forward to seeing all they will accomplish in the years ahead!

🚨Oversight Democrats just unanimously voted to subpoena Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein's partner.
This is progress. We will not stop fighting until the Epstein Files are released. Trump and Bondi must stop blocking the American people from the truth.
Another late night update here from Washington - House Republicans have decided to place bogus conditions on the release of the Epstein Files in the middle of the night.
The American public deserves the truth.
The CLARITY Act aka the CALAMITY Act:
🚨 Is a handout to Trump and his family

@lynch.house.gov, from South Boston, is a former ironworker and union president who’s dedicated his life to standing up for workers. He has long fought to put workers at the center of U.S. trade policy and keep American jobs at home.
I am proud to stand with my brothers and sisters from Local 25!
A special thank you to Angela, Tom Jr., and Susan Menino for sharing this moment with all of us. Mayor Menino believed in Boston- its people, its neighborhoods, and its future- and now, the BCEC will forever carry his name as a symbol of that belief.
I am grateful to Lt. Governor Driscoll, Mayor Wu, Chairman Michlewitz, the Massachusetts state and local delegations, and the many former members of Mayor Menino’s team who came together to pay tribute to his lasting legacy.
This weekend we proudly joined together to rename the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in honor of Mayor Tom Menino, a leader whose unwavering dedication shaped the city we know and love.
Had a chance to see the Dorchester Heights renovation project tonight! The federal funding we got was well-spent.
Sincere thanks to the National Park Service and the skilled women and men of the Massachusetts building Trades for a job well done preserving a National Treasure. 🇺🇸
While we celebrate the blessings of our democracy on this Independence Day, please let us remember the generations of courageous Americans who fought the power of Kings and despots to gain, defend, and preserve that freedom.
Have a safe and Happy 4th! 🇺🇸

Jeffries: "When you look at that Declaration of Independence, the second part of it, it reads like an indictment against an out of control king ... they were fed up with Project 1775. So they implemented Project 1776."
We are still here fighting against this Big Ugly Bill, which will have extremely negative effects on the many resources that our communities rely on, including our community health centers and Head Start programs.
Democrats are fighting against President Trump’s proposed cuts to Medicaid, nutritional assistance, and other critical programs in favor of tax cuts for billionaires.
I will be here all night fighting against this terrible bill.
President Trump's "Big Awful Bill" will have severe impacts on Massachusetts and our healthcare system. I am voting "NO" and will continue to keep you updated as House Republicans try to push this legislation through Congress.
As Vice-Chair of the Labor Caucus and a proud product of a postal family, I stand with @apwu.bsky.social, @lettercarriers.bsky.social, mail handlers, supervisors, and other dedicated employees who ensure that the postal service remains America's most trusted government institution.
