Congratulations to His Holiness Pope Leo XIV. A historic day for America and the world. May he be blessed with the wisdom, courage and grace to lead during these times.
This is dumb and makes no sense. Starting with 10% indiscriminate tariffs and ending with 10% indiscriminate tariffs means that American consumers will continue to pay exactly the same tariff tax before this “deal”.

Reproductive and sexual health data should be private. We have a bill to keep it that way.

It takes a special kind of stupid to take a growing economy and throw it into reverse.
Honored to join the terrific Rep April McClain Delaney at the Maryland Dems AAPI DLC event honoring our federal employees.
Democrats are fighting back through legislation, litigation and mobilization against the unlawful actions of the Trump Administration, and we will prevail.
Trump promised a golden age. He lied to you, again.
The Administration’s indiscriminate cuts will imperil veterans. These cuts include “Life-Saving Cancer Trials”. Veterans could die because of these devastating cuts.
Ask Republicans to tell the Administration to stop hurting veterans.
Thanking Americans at the Day of Action today in Torrance.
“Public sentiment is everything. With it, nothing can fail; against it, nothing can succeed.” - Abraham Lincoln
Understand your power to shape public sentiment.
As a Catholic, I take great offense to Donald Trump mocking Catholics.
I wish Trump would focus on lowering prices instead. The American economy had negative GDP growth last quarter. That’s what he should be focused on instead of making fun of Catholics.
Do you think SecDef Pete Hegseth will use his taxpayer-funded Pentagon glam countertop before riding in the parade?
USA! USA! USA! Nothing screams warrior culture like a glam countertop.

The aerospace community is vital to advancing America’s scientific and technological leadership, as well as our national security.
Introduced a resolution to recognize the stellar work of the aerospace community and make today, May 2, National Space Day.
SecDef Hegseth should be the one being fired. Hegseth was on not just one, but two Signal chats where he texted advanced info on combat operations to random people. Mike Waltz did not send the problematic texts.
Also, Hegseth’s Pentagon makeup studio is really vain and a waste of taxpayer funds.

ICE cannot deport US citizens. This should not even be a discussion.
Astounded Republicans voted against this.
In Trump’s first 100 days, he alone was responsible for SHRINKING THE US ECONOMY.
No wonder Trump’s approval rating is the lowest of any President in the last 80 years.
But to be fair, Trump was able to rename a mountain in Alaska to Mount McKinley.
The Trump/GOP recession has officially begun! "The U.S. economy contracted in the first three months of 2025, fueling recession fears." See US GDP growth chart below- positive every month until Trump's tariffs! www.cnbc.com/2025/04/30/g...

Secretary Hegseth’s phone number was found all over the internet. Hackers could have surveilled his phone and gotten sensitive information.
It’s time for him to resign.
Hope his makeup studio is going well though.
There are various ways a mobile phone can be surveilled if the hacker knows the phone number (eg, look up SS7 attack).
Hegseth’s phone number—from where he texted ongoing combat operations—was easily accessible on the internet.
He has no concept of OpSec. He needs to resign.
Remind me, what happened again in November 2018?
Trump’s policies are harmful, reckless and in some cases lawless. That’s why his poll numbers are plummeting. Keep making your voices heard. The best way to deal with a bully is to fight back.
I did a cut and paste from my last post b/c we now have a second major poll showing Trump below 40%.

As a recovering computer science major, I’m very aware that basically everything is susceptible to being hacked. But SecDef Hegseth makes it much easier for America’s enemies to hack him because he repeatedly plays fast and loose with operational security.
He needs to resign.
