Today House Democrats shut down House Republicans for the rest of the week!
House Democrats will continue to fight with everything we have to stop House Republicans’ bad ideas from passing the House floor.

If this had been a Democratic Administration, Republicans would have all called for the Secretary of Defense’s resignation. It’s indefensible conduct.
If the Administration’s action were popular, then they wouldn’t have pulled GOP Rep Elise Stefanik’s nomination. But what Trump is doing is not popular. It’s batshit crazy. Americans are fed up with the incompetence, lying and illegal behavior.
That’s why Dems keep winning special elections.
Secretary Hegseth lied to the American people.
The White House lied to the American people.
The American people are not stupid.
The war plan information that Hegseth texted to a journalist on the unsecure Signal chat would have been classified.
Hegseth needs to resign.
Trump and Republicans think what they’re doing is popular. It’s not. It’s batshit crazy. Americans are angry about the incompetence, lying and brazenly illegal behavior of the Trump Administration. And prices keep rising.
That’s why Dems keep flipping seats.
Honored to join veterans in calling for accountability and investigations into Secretary Hegseth’s FUBAR situation where he texted secret war plans on Signal to a journalist.
We all wore the uniform. If we had texted secret war plans to a journalist, we likely would have been court-martialed.

Texting top secret war plans is a serious breach of national security protocol. We’re calling on Republicans to join Democrats in opening investigations to get to the bottom of this misconduct.
Secretary Hegseth shows once again that he is in way over his head and not qualified to lead the DoD. He sent secret war plans on Signal chat to a journalist. This kind of reckless conduct endangers our national security and makes our allies not want to share information with us.
“The reason I knew this is that Pete Hegseth, the secretary of defense, had texted me the war plan at 11:44 a.m. The plan included precise information about weapons packages, targets, and timing.”

Honored to speak at the District Office Inauguration of Pablo Jose Hernandez!
Congressman Hernandez is a fierce champion for Democratic values and for Puerto Rico, and he serves on the House Homeland Security and Natural Resources Committees.
Went to two grocery stores today to get eggs. Neither had any.
What are the Administration and Republicans doing about rising egg prices and the lack of eggs? NOTHING.
In fact, the Administration is making things worse by firing inspectors and scientists working on bird flu.

I’m simply going to post these two facts regarding Sen Schumer’s post:
1. Trump sent JD Vance to lobby Republicans to vote for the partisan GOP CR bill that makes devastating cuts across the board and legitimizes DOGE.
2. Trump publicly castigated GOP Rep Massie for voting NO.
Trump is failing.
-Dow Jones dropped again
-Consumer sentiment is down
-Egg prices are up
Trump’s indiscriminate tariffs and his firing of scientists working on bird flu are harming America and increasing the risk of recession.
#TrumpSlump
The Dow dropped another 890 points today.
Trump’s harmful policies—such as indiscriminate tariffs and firing scientists and inspectors working on bird flu—are increasing the risks of recession.
Worst stock market performance in a president’s first 50 days since 2009.
Honored to join Rep Lloyd Doggett and the fantastic members of the Travis County Democratic Party in Austin, TX!
Organize, show up, speak up: that’s how we fight back and win.
Honored to speak at a huge rally in Austin with Rep Doggett, Rep Casar and Sen Warren to fight back against the batshit crazy actions of the Trump Administration.
Thank you to Reps Doggett and Casar for mobilizing so many Americans. This is how we win. We will never bow down.
Trump lied to you. He promised a golden age. Instead, we are entering a #TrumpSlump:
-Inflation is up.
-Consumer sentiment is down.
-The unemployment rate increased.
How does Trump trying to rename the Gulf of Mexico lower the price of eggs? It doesn’t.
Trump promised a golden age. He lied to you. We are entering a #TrumpSlump:
-Inflation is up.
-Consumer sentiment is down.
-The markets are tanking.
Trump’s repeated flip flops on imposing indiscriminate tariffs shows weakness and indecision, and sows chaos.
