Betty and I had a wonderful time at the Torrance Firefighters Spaghetti Dinner and Bake Sale tonight!
Thank you to the amazing firefighters who protect us, and to all those who support our firefighters. Torrance is one of the few cities that has a Class 1 Fire Department.
The trump economy sucks:
92,000 jobs LOST last month.
Unemployment rate INCREASES to 4.4%.
Labor force participation DROPS.
And what is trump focused on? Golden drapes and his Epstein ballroom.
Thank you to the American people who exercised their First Amendment rights to protest and film horrific abuses by Kristi Noem’s masked agents.
House and Senate Judiciary Committees held two oversight hearings exposing Noem’s corruption and abuse of power.
trump fired her today.

The producer price index (PPI), a leading indicator of CPI, came in hot.
Expectations were that Core PPI would be 3.0%, but prices jumped by 3.6%.
The tariffs and policies of trump and his rubber stamp Republicans are crushing the American economy and super charging inflation.
Honored to host an event with Reps Sydney Kamlager-Dove and Gabe Amo in support of CBC PAC last week. CBC has been at the forefront of protecting our civil rights and fighting against voter suppression.

Tourism is down in the U.S. under Trump, while globally it is up.
Kristi Noem turned DHS into something that is FUBAR and tourists are scared to come.
A British woman was shackled and slept on floor of cell for six weeks even though she had a valid visa.
Noem must resign.
A retired British primary school administrator with a British passport and a valid visa was shackled, chained and detained for six weeks by ICE

Honored to campaign with the amazing Rep George Whitesides last week! He works hard every day on behalf of his constituents, and is fighting to reduce wildfire risk, improve our economy and address the cost of living emergency.

What does Trump do after the Supreme Court strikes down his massive tax increase? He acts like a crybaby and imposes temporary tariffs of 10% that will expire in 150 days.
Democrats will kill the temporary tariffs when they expire.
Republicans support tariffs.
November is coming.
Thank you to Smog City Brewery for continuing to make awesome beers under challenging conditions caused by tariffs. Their newest beer Smog Czech is incredible.

Rev. Jesse Jackson made America a better place because of his servant leadership. He instilled in millions of people the revolutionary idea that “I am Somebody.” Our world is a lesser place because of his passing, but Heaven just received a giant.
I recently finished reading the science fiction classics Hyperion and Fall of Hyperion, which were published more than three and a half decades ago. The descriptions of Artificial Intelligence in the books are fascinating and prescient.
Honored to join the amazing Rep Dina Titus last week in Nevada’s 1st Congressional District!
Dina is a Frontline Member in a swing district. You can learn more about Dina and help her here: www.dinatitus.com
Core CPI accelerated in January by the most since August. Core inflation increased .3% from December.
Trump’s tariffs—and the sycophantic Republicans that support the tariffs—continue to increase prices.
November is coming.

Attorney General Pam Bondi has the power to hold the men in the Epstein files accountable.
But she’s doing the opposite. She’s protecting them.
