This is one of the cruelest things.
They passed a bill that would actually increase overdraft fees. Intentionally.
So on your worst day, you overdraw your account to pay your bills and you’re hit with a high fee.

They passed a bill that undermines federal judges and limits their rulings to their local jurisdiction. These are federal judges ruling on federal matters.
In the middle of all the chaos around the tariffs and the market crashing, they passed a bill with language preventing any attempt by Congress to revoke the emergency powers that Trump is using with these tariffs.
They passed the SAVE Act that will make it harder for millions of Americans to vote – like our military members, married women, and rural voters.
For example, if your driver’s license doesn’t match your birth certificate, like many married women, it could block you from voting altogether.
They passed a resolution to bring this $4.5 trillion budget to the floor.
Their budget:
➡️ Adds trillions to the debt
➡️ Cuts nearly $1 trillion in healthcare
➡️ Spends trillions on tax giveaways to Elon Musk and the uber-wealthy
In the last 48 hours, congressional Republicans have done so much damage to Americans.
Here are the 5 truly harmful things they passed. 👇🧵
Congressional Republicans just passed the SAVE Act, a bill that makes it harder for millions of Americans to vote. It's unconstitutional and illegal.
We end voter suppression by passing the John Lewis Voting Rights Act — the most important bill to fix our democracy.
For as long as I can remember, no one has messed with judges. But now, because Trump is losing in court, they’re under attack.
Congressional Republicans just passed a bill to undermine ALL federal judges and limit their rulings to their local jurisdiction.
I voted no.
Pure chaos. Horrible results.
Trillions of wealth lost, jobs gone, prices skyrocketing.

Insanity.

Our bipartisan bill to increase foreign investments in U.S. semiconductor manufacturing passed out of @energycommerce.bsky.social.
Making semiconductor chips in the U.S. will create good-paying jobs, secure our supply chains, and keep us safe.
The American people deserve this debate.

We can't let them cut their healthcare.
Nicole's story👇🏼
Every day, NIOSH employees help protect workers from injury and illness. But Trump and Secretary Kennedy fired 1,500 of them, including over 400 from SW Ohio.
That's why we sent a letter – backed by more than 100 of my colleagues and over a dozen labor organizations – calling on them to be rehired.
It’s tax season and we’re here to help.
We’ll be at the Madisonville Public Library tomorrow, April 8th from 11am - 3pm to assist with any IRS return issues, VA benefits, passport needs, and more!

Over 100 members of Congress joined our letter demanding they get their jobs back.👇🏼
