During the Republican Shutdown, Trump is:
—Bailing out Argentina with your money
—Hawking his tacky ballroom to billionaire donors
—Hosting a fancy fundraiser at Mar-A-Lago
…all while your health insurance premiums explode & groceries are at an all-time high.
MAGA: TrUmP IsN’t TrYiNg tO bE kInG
Trump: Uses his power to enrich himself & silence critics, ignores court rulings, deploys troops in US cities, rants about “the enemy within,” and openly floats an unconstitutional 3rd term…
Trump’s tariffs are driving up prices while his billionaire donors & foreign friends get richer.
That’s not America First—it’s corruption with better branding.
Donald Trump once said that keeping the government open is the president’s responsibility. By his own measure, he’s failed. Lousy leadership & staggering incompetence!
This is Donald Trump’s America. Regular people are struggling and can’t afford their grocery bills because his tariffs have driven up the cost of food.
He promised he would lower costs for you. Instead all he’s done is lower taxes for billionaires.
Trump promised he would bring down grocery prices. He lied.
Ground beef is up 12.8% since May.
Bananas are up 6.6%
Coffee is up a whopping 20%
Trump’s tariffs are making you poorer while his billionaire friends laugh their way to the bank to cash in on their new tax breaks.
Because Speaker Johnson refuses to reopen the government, I’m doing my weekly #EndHungerNow speech from the steps of the Capitol.
This week, I’m talking about my new bill—the Healthy Meals Help Kids Learn Act. Here’s how it will help feed hungry kids & support local farmers.
Correction: now it’s $40B. But still no healthcare for you!!!
Trump is doubling a foreign bailout. For us Americans, it’s our health insurance that’s about to double.
Republicans can’t be bothered to negotiate with Democrats to stop your insurance premiums from skyrocketing—but they have no problem with Trump bailing out Argentina with $20B of your money.
So much for America First!
Republicans refuse to reopen the government, extend healthcare tax credits, and prevent your premiums from skyrocketing.
For people making between $60-$75k in #MA02, that means a 400 PERCENT INCREASE in insurance premiums.
Republicans can stop this from happening. Why won’t they?
Who were the 6 people the Administration just killed without due process?
Were they children?
Were they victims of human trafficking?
WE DON’T KNOW—they refuse to show proof.
No one made Trump judge, jury & executioner. This is a gross violation of international human rights.
Proverbs 10:11 “The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.”
Maybe @SpeakerJohnson should go back to Sunday School.
It’s Day 14 of the Republican Shutdown.
I’m in DC ready to open the government & prevent health insurance premiums from doubling.
Republicans are spending another week on the couch & don’t care that your costs will skyrocket.
Dear House Republicans: get back to DC and do your damn job!
For generations, the federal government funded research that leads to medical breakthroughs & even cures.
But Trump’s massive cuts at NIH and beyond will make our country sicker, poorer, and worse off.
Like many of you, this is personal for me.
I held a town hall in Holliston today to hear people’s concerns & talk about how I’m working for them.
Folks are scared about their healthcare insurance premiums doubling—Democrats are ready to take action on healthcare, but Republicans refuse to reopen the government. It’s shameful.
Hey MAGA, here’s a list of Trump’s shutdown achievements:
-Sending $20 billion of your tax dollars to Argentina
-Letting Qatar build an air base in Idaho
-Golfing trip while the troops aren’t getting paid
Is that America First? Or are you ready to admit he’s a f***ing liar?
Americans were told that if you work hard, you’d have enough to buy a house, raise a family, and maybe take the kids to Disney.
Now, most working folks can’t afford a downpayment, childcare, or a vacation.
Republicans’ solution? Rip away folks’ healthcare & give handouts to the mega rich.
