Donald Trump and Republicans cut SNAP benefits for millions of Americans so they could lavish more tax giveaways to the wealthiest among us. It is unconscionable that people are going hungry while Trump, his family, associates and billionaire donors line their pockets.

Always great to meet with local union leaders! I listened to their current concerns and shared my commitment to backing policies that support workers’ rights to organize and collectively bargain for fair pay, benefits, and decent working conditions.
Trump and Republicans are failing the American people and they know it:
❌High Cost of Living
❌War in the Middle East
❌Job disappearing
❌Farms going bankrupt
Republicans cry “election integrity,” so they can rig the midterms.
ICE continues to terrorize our communities in Wisconsin. I’m proud to stand with Milwaukee Mayor Johnson, Senator Carpenter, Milwaukee Common Council President Jose Perez, and Voces de la Frontera Executive Director Christine Neumann-Ortiz to raise awareness and remind people of their rights.
Man who can’t be bothered doing his current job is seeking a promotion.
On the other hand, I was proud to show up and vote for the bipartisan housing bill, which included my legislation to help small and community banks increase loans in underserved communities.

Republicans slashed funding for BadgerCare and SNAP to pay for tax cuts for billionaires.
Wisconsinites deserve to know which politicians are behind these devastating decisions, which is why we held this town hall in Rep. Brian Steil’s district.
Proud to join @benwikler.bsky.social, @pocan.house.gov, @repmcgovern.bsky.social, @jayapal.house.gov, @ramirez.house.gov, and Wisconsin local organizers in my birthplace, Racine, last night for a town hall highlighting how Republican policies have made life harder & more expensive for Wisconsinites.
We discussed the increased costs to keep employees on health insurance, rising utility costs for businesses, and how child care is increasingly unaffordable.
As your Congresswoman, it is a privilege to fight for policies that uplift families and our local economy.
Great to meet with local small business owners, child care providers, and non-profit leaders to discuss how the affordability crisis is impacting the Milwaukee community.
Yes. She committed fraud and is going to jail.
Where Trump and his family of crypto grifters and inside traders belong.
WI elections are safe and secure, and will continue to be as long as Trump is not involved.
I stand with Mayor Johnson. 2020 election SORE loser Donald Trump and “I’m a never Trump guy” JD Vance continue to peddle lies about election integrity in Milwaukee to set the GROUNDWORK to MEDDLE in WI elections.

Welcome back, Yessenia! This is a win for due process. I’m so happy to have you and your daughters back in Milwaukee.

Visit DisasterAssistance.gov or call the FEMA helpline at 800-621-3362 to apply.
Good news! Residents whose homes were damaged from the severe weather April 13-23, 2026 are now eligible to apply for FEMA assistance. This can help owners and renters access financial assistance for what insurance doesn’t cover.

Frank Bisignano was appointed the part-time Social Security Commissioner and IRS CEO by Donald Trump.
Since then, he’s used this position to use our Social Security and tax system to serve Donald Trump’s crooked agenda―not the American people’s.

I had a wonderful time at our Fourth of July Parade! I always enjoy being home in Milwaukee and seeing so many of you, especially on America’s birthday.
Happy Birthday, America!
At this inflection point for our country and our democracy, let us conjure the spirit of our Founding Fathers as we continue working toward a more perfect union.
My constituents should know they are entitled to due process in our country. Every person has rights, no matter their status. As Wisconsin’s Fourth District representative, I will continue conducting oversight and doing everything in my power to protect my constituents.
Their reckless tactics are terrorizing families & inflicting harm on our residents, especially across the South Side. ICE is operating like a rogue agency, & its abuses make clear that serious reforms are long overdue. This is exactly why I refused to give this out‑of‑control agency one more penny.
