I pressed the Acting AG in today’s hearing and got him to say this on the record. We will continue to strongly oppose this corrupt Slush Fund and make sure that not a single taxpayer dollar is used to fund the President’s personal grievances. (2/2)
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche says he’s not moving forward with President Trump’s $1.8 billion “Anti-Weaponization Fund," but he is refusing to put it in writing. (1/2)

Affordable housing for everyone—not just the wealthy. (2/2)
The cost to buy, build, or rent a home is outrageous.
Democrats have a plan to make housing cheaper by building millions of new homes, giving every first time homebuyer downpayment assistance, and guaranteeing rental assistance for those who need it. (1/2)
As we close out this month, we continue to celebrate their history, uplift their voices, and stand together against hate in all its forms.
Jewish American Heritage Month is a time to honor the generations of Jewish Americans who have shaped our country through resilience, culture, and community. From neighborhoods in Queens to communities across the nation, their contributions continue to strengthen and enrich American life.
Affordable childcare isn't a luxury. It's essential.
Childcare costs are crushing families. As prices across the board continue to rise under Trump, parents need real relief.
Democrats have a plan: invest in local childcare providers so most families pay no more than $10 a day—and no family pays more than 7% of their income.
They're making STEM education accessible and engaging for everyone, whether you dream of becoming an astronaut or just love exploring science.
I visited the New York Hall of Science on Community Day to see how they're using these dollars to bring exciting programs like the Artemis II exhibit directly to our neighborhood.
Thrilled to have secured over $1 million in STEM education funding through NASA and the National Science Foundation—and it's making a real impact right here in Queens!

Stopped by the American Pakistani Advocacy Group Cares’ Eid al-Adha food drive—grateful for all they’re doing to help feed our community for the holiday.
For years, Sakya Tsechen has been a cornerstone of the local Tibetan community—preserving culture and faith, supporting families, and creating a welcoming space. They have created a home for our Buddhist community in Queens that will continue to bring people together for generations to come.
It was an honor to join Council Member Julie Won and our Tibetan community to celebrate the street co-naming for the Sakya Tsechen Association at 35-16 63rd Street in Woodside.
Stopped by the Nan Shan Older Adult Center this week to visit with some of our local seniors, answer their questions, and talk about the work I’m doing in Congress to deliver for Queens! Always appreciate the chance to listen and learn how I can better support them.
We will keep pushing until this long-overdue legislation reaches the President’s desk for the millions who celebrate across the country.
Eid Mubarak!
Wishing a peaceful and joyous Eid al-Adha to everyone observing in Queens and across the world. 🌙✨
Proud to partner with Congressman André Carson on the Eid Days Act to recognize Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr as federal holidays. (1/2)
