I am horrified by the attack in Boulder today on the eve of Shavout. These acts of hate and violence are inexcusable. We must continue to condemn antisemitism in all its forms and stand with the Jewish community in Boulder and across the country.
Proud to celebrate pride in Queens! 🌈
This year we're celebrating the pride & resilience of our LGBTQ+ community, while also standing up to the injustice they're facing. There is still a lot of work ahead of us, but I will always be an ally in the fight for equality & justice.
When our small businesses thrive, our economy thrives. I won't stop fighting for them.
In Queens, small businesses are the backbone of our local economy.
This week, I joined the Asian American Federation's Korean Small Business Roundtable & heard firsthand from business owners about the impact the President's tariffs & policies are having on them & the community.

CAPAC Chair @meng.house.gov led 31 of her colleagues today in demanding answers from Secretary Rubio on his plans to revoke visas for Chinese students.
The wholesale revocation of visas raises serious concerns that innocent students will be targeted, simply because they are of Chinese descent.
I gave Secretary Rubio the chance to set the record straight on whether anyone has died due to the Administration's reckless cuts to foreign aid. He didn’t have an answer.
Honored to join veterans from American Legion Post #103 in Little Neck/Douglaston, along with so many community members, to celebrate Memorial Day. Grateful for a meaningful weekend remembering and honoring all who gave their lives in service to our nation.
This weekend, it was a privilege to mark Memorial Day with St. Sebastian’s Catholic War Veterans Post #870 in Woodside, paying tribute to those who gave their lives in service. Our community remains eternally grateful for their sacrifice.
Finally rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal government…
Social Security isn't an entitlement. It's an earned benefit that hardworking Americans pay into throughout their lifetime. I'm not only fighting to protect it, but I'm also working to strengthen it.
In my Queens community alone, more than 125,000 people rely on Social Security.
I hosted a listening session in Elmhurst where community organizations, seniors, & families voiced their concerns about cuts to benefits & services.
This Memorial Day weekend it was an honor to join the Middle Village Property Owners Association and veterans from VFW Post #551 to lay wreaths for the service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Thank you to everyone who joined us in paying tribute.🇺🇸
A special thank you to everyone who joined me to celebrate Memorial Day with the Bayside Hills Civic Association! A wonderful tribute to our fallen service members.
They live in our communities & dedicate their lives to serving their neighbors.
I'm proud to stand with them as they fight back against dangerous & illegal cuts to the federal workforce.
Federal workers are helping retirees receive their Social Security payments, providing veterans with the benefits and care they were promised, researching cures for cancer, forecasting weather before dangerous storms, making sure the food we eat is safe, & so much more.
Thank you to everyone who joined me in Maspeth to celebrate Memorial Day! It was an honor to join our community, service members, & veterans in support of the brave men & women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
On behalf of a grateful nation, thank you for your service.
A wonderful Memorial Day weekend spent honoring our nation's bravest in Forest Hills. Thank you to American Legion Post #1424 for hosting this important day.
Memorial Day honors the service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country & we are eternally grateful for their service.
Social Security is an earned benefit that millions of Americans like Mark rely on. I'm not only fighting to make sure these benefits are accessible, but I’m also working to expand them.
If you need assistance with Social Security, my office is here to help. Give us a call at (718) 358-MENG.
Mark, a retired teacher from Flushing, recently reached out to my office seeking help with his Social Security benefits after experiencing months of delays. My team reached out to Social Security & he finally received his first payment this month.
My thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
