Glad to welcome members of the Brewers Association in D.C. today to discuss the vital role small and independent breweries play in our economy and communities.
Together we're supporting local jobs and innovation, in our region and beyond.
Republicans are eager to cut billions of dollars from NSF, scientific research, and education budgets.
Under their Commerce, Justice, Science bill, America will fall behind as global innovation leader. Our economy—and our children—will pay the price.

Trump's budget bill doesn't just gut Medicaid; hardworking families who rely on the ACA and Medicare for healthcare will also lose coverage.
Millions will lose coverage, hospitals will be forced to cut services, and 5.4 million more Americans will be pushed into medical debt.
Due to unexpected scheduling changes, our Virtual Town Hall has been postponed to 4:00 PM tomorrow, July 15th.
Please register for tomorrow's event here:

This exhibit highlights the fight for equitable access to the ballot box for every American, a fight I'm carrying on as top Dem on the Committee on House Administration.
Here in Rochester, Foodlink does important work to uplift community members most in need and keep our neighbors fed.
The Republican budget puts that mission at serious risk.
If the so-called party of "law and order," refuses to honor the officers who risked their safety on January 6th to protect the Capitol—House Democrats will.
Alongside nearly 120 other members, I hung a copy of the plaque honoring our Capitol Police outside my office.
Trump's budget benefits the top 1% in our country.
The bill is a reverse Robin Hood—prioritizing the billionaires who sat behind him on inauguration day at the expense of hardworking American families.
The Republican scheme to gerrymander Texas districts mid-cycle is a blatant attempt to change the rules in the middle of the game.
This isn't how free and fair elections work, and it undermines trust in our elections.

Slashing Medicaid means slashing care when people need it most. Under Trump's budget, 1 in 4 nursing homes could shut down.
In yet another cruel and dangerous move from Republicans, seniors across the country will be left out in the cold—literally.
