It is wrong for the Republican Majority to capitulate to this cruel request from the Administration. As a Member of the House Appropriations Committee, we must reverse this misguided action that undermines our ability to trust the implementation of bipartisan legislative agreements.
Many communities rely on National Public Radio and local stations funded under the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, not just for news and educational programming, but often as their sole source for emergency weather-related information.
