1/ It’s been 60 years since President Johnson signed Medicare and Medicaid into law—two landmark programs that have empowered working families, older Americans, and our most vulnerable for generations.

3/ I'll continue working collaboratively with the Army Corps and DNREC to ensure this project moves forward as quickly as possible and to fight for more federal funding in the years ahead to guarantee we are protecting all of our towns from extreme weather and sea-level rise.
2/ Beach replenishment is about the survival of some of Delaware's most cherished communities, and I'm so grateful to my friend Kathy Lock and the Bay Beach Association for all of their work to protect our coastal bay towns.
1/ It was great to be in Slaughter Beach alongside mayors, neighbors, state officials, and the Army Corps of Engineers to discuss the nearly $60 million project to replenish coastal communities along the Delaware Bay.
Rep. McBride speaks at a podium.
2/ I’ll keep uplifting the real-world effects felt by patients and providers—and do everything I can to safeguard the care Delawareans deserve. I'm grateful that we have leaders like Dr. Tam working to creatively navigate a very difficult situation.
1/ I met with Dr. David Tam from Beebe Healthcare again today for a sobering conversation about how Trump and Congressional Republicans’ Big Ugly Bill will impact rural hospitals. There’s no sugarcoating it—the consequences will be both devastating and deadly.

2/ Our veterans have had our backs—and now, we must have theirs. I’ll keep working to ensure Delaware’s veterans and their families have access to the care, resources, and respect they’ve earned.

1/ It’s been 16 years since Congress last raised the federal minimum wage—but wages have remained stagnant and failed to keep up with inflation. Workers in Delaware and across the country deserve a living wage.

Transgender servicemembers have served with honor, distinction, and unshakable patriotism. But the Trump administration is now telling them they can no longer serve because of how they express their gender. That message is immoral. It is unfair. And it is un-American.
1/I've got more big news for you, Delaware: the House just passed the bipartisan legislation I'm co-leading—the Equal Opportunity for All Investors Act! Access to capital continues to be a major obstacle for so many entrepreneurs who want to start their own businesses.
⏰ 🚨 I took to the floor to urge my colleagues to pass my bipartisan bill—the Equal Opportunity for All Investors Act. It’s a commonsense fix that opens the door for entrepreneurs that have been historically shut out from starting a small business.
