Reflecting on the end of WWII reminds us that freedom comes at a cost. We remember the servicemembers who fought, the families who waited, and the sacrifices that shaped our nation.
On Labor Day we honor the workers who built this nation. The @laborcaucus.house.gov is more than 120 members strong and we are fighting every day to protect workers’ rights and lift up the labor movement in Congress.
From our caucus to you, Happy Labor Day!
As students across South Jersey prepare to head back to school next week, I want to wish all students, teachers, and education staff a great start to a new year. Education opens doors and empowers the next generation. Here’s to a strong and successful year ahead!
I’m at the Peter J. McGuire memorial in my hometown of Pennsauken celebrating the “Father of Labor Day.” As we head into Labor Day weekend, we are grateful to leaders of the labor movement, like McGuire, who fought for many of the worker protections we have today.

Just before Labor Day, President Trump continued his union-busting spree, this time revoking collective bargaining rights for workers at NASA, NOAA, and more.
These civil servants perform critical work and keep us safe. They deserve a voice on the job.
As a member of the Equality Caucus, I joined fellow Members of Congress on an amicus brief urging the Supreme Court to uphold states' bans on conversion therapy, a cruel, disproven practice for minors.
It was fun to have Philly Native and four-time Grammy award-winning bassist Stanley Clarke at the Camden Waterfront this week. What a great turnout and note to end the summer on. Thanks to everyone who said hi!
Today marks the 62nd anniversary of the March on Washington, a moment that forever shaped our nation’s fight for justice and equality. We honor the courage of the civil rights leaders who led the way and recommit ourselves to carrying their work forward.
DOGE has put your sensitive data at risk of being leaked or hacked. It's just another example of the carelessness and recklessness surrounding the Trump Administration. I cosponsored the Taxpayer Data Protection Act to set strict rules to keep your data safe. Americans deserve better.
Happy Women’s Equality Day! Today, we continue the fight to enforce equal pay for equal work, restore reproductive freedom, and ensure women have the opportunity to succeed in every area of life.
I'm back on threads! Follow along for updates on how I am standing up to Trump and fighting for South Jersey families. www.threads.com/@donaldnorcr...
When FEMA staff say Trump’s decisions could cause a Katrina-level disaster, we should listen. I’ll never forget what happened after Hurricane Sandy. Disaster relief is about saving lives, not politics. www.washingtonpost.com/weather/2025...
This mansion saw South Jersey transform into the community we know today. Once home to the Whitney family, it later trained teachers and in 1967 hosted President Johnson’s Cold War summit with Premier Kosygin. Where in South Jersey is this?
Republicans are taking food off of Americans' tables to give tax breaks to billionaires. It makes no sense. Food is a right, not a privilege. We should always help our neighbors, not kick them when they are down.
Thanks, Food Bank South Jersey, for the great work you do day in and day out.
John Lewis taught us the power of good trouble. 4 years ago, the House passed the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. We must pass it again. And get it signed into law. The fight for equality isn’t over.
The first round of SEPTA service cuts goes into effect tomorrow. Please visit the SEPTA website for service changes www.septa.org/fundingcrisis/service-cuts/
Thank you, @govmurphy.bsky.social and NJ Transit, for making sure South Jersey can get around as SEPTA's service changes start this weekend.
6.7M in funding for Camden's electrical bus fleet came from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which I voted to pass in 2021.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics gives us honest jobs numbers. President Trump is trying to hide the truth about our economy by firing the top labor data official. I joined @repcasar.bsky.social to demand that she be rehired right away.
Trump’s plan to destroy millions of dollars’ worth of contraceptives is cruel and wasteful. We should be expanding women’s healthcare, not cutting it off. I’ll always fight to protect reproductive freedom. thehill.com/policy/healt...
