For Esther, this wasn’t just paperwork. It was a huge weight lifted. Watch her story below. If you’re stuck dealing with a federal agency, my office may be able to help. You can fill out my webform at palloneforms.house.gov/forms/casework/ and my office will be in touch with you!
Esther’s tax refund was stalled because of an identity theft declaration issue on her account. After my office stepped in, the IRS removed the flag, updated the account, and finally released her refund.
For-profit detention facilities like Delaney Hall must shutter, and the arbitrary detention of our neighbors must end. www.nytimes.com/2026/06/18/u...
I’m glad to see one of ex-Secretary Noem’s signature policies walked back, but my Garden State colleagues and I won’t stop until ICE brutality in our state ends for good.
Allowing an industrial-scale detention center—with conditions unfit for human habitation—to open in our state should have been out of the question.
We found Trump's birthday wishlist. Spoiler alert: @houserepublicans.bsky.social have been all too happy to check every item off it.
I’ve been demanding answers from Ellison of possible Trump Administration and foreign interference in the merger. We need answers because this is a threat to the independence of the media. democrats-energycommerce.house.gov/media/press-...
This is a dangerous consolidation of power to Paramount Skydance CEO David Ellison who constantly bends the knee to Trump.
Ellison has positioned his growing media empire to serve Trump, including his ongoing destruction of CBS News. With this merger, he would now control CNN too.
I’m committed to standing up for our district’s history as a center of LGBTQ+ life and culture, and for our country’s progress for our LGBTQ+ neighbors.
Asbury Park has hosted New Jersey’s most prominent Pride celebration for over thirty years in honor of the pioneers of America’s LGBTQ+ rights movement. This fight hasn’t stopped.
Trump and Republicans are rolling back protections, mandating discrimination, and weaponizing federal law against trans Americans. America is never going back—LGBTQ+ rights are here to stay, and I’ll keep fighting in Congress to make sure they do.
Happy Pride, New Jersey! It was a great privilege to be here at Jersey Pride in Asbury Park to celebrate with our vibrant LGBTQ+ community.
The dam is breaking. Americans don’t want Trump’s illegal, unconstitutional war, and keeping the pressure on @houserepublicans.bsky.social finally worked.
The House, the Senate, and the American people have spoken. Trump must follow the constitution and end this war IMMEDIATELY.
Extremists in the Republican Party have gone completely off the rails.
While I'm glad the backlash against Rep. Ogles has been swift, the culture of bigotry that made his tweet possible must be rooted out at its source. Hatred has no place in America.
Happy Pride. I fixed your tweet for you.
Our goal is for this facility to close permanently, but these detainees need relief NOW. My colleagues and I will continue to conduct oversight and hold DHS and ICE accountable so these detainees can be treated with the dignity they deserve.
I’m back at Delaney Hall with @repanalilia.bsky.social, and we were able to confirm the horrible conditions detainees described to us in our previous oversight visits. However, we also verified the release of some of this facility’s most medically vulnerable detainees and saw improvements.
Happy Pride, New Jersey! I’m proud to stand and celebrate Pride Month with the robust and vibrant LGBTQ+ community in my district.
I am determined to fight for the progress America has made to support our LGBTQ+ neighbors. We are never going back.
Trump wants to strip any pathway to citizenship and belonging in America, and destroy the American dream. And he’s doing it in places like Delaney Hall.
They desire liberty and to return to work to provide for their families. They’re shocked that they can be stripped of due process and be put in a place like this—in what is supposed to be the land of the free.
When I visit Delaney Hall, the immigrants detained there always talk about how much they value the American dream.
