Technically, those who quit may have to work from home - meaningless for disaster workers.
I appeal to those who are helping Los Angeles recover from these fires. We appreciate your work. Please don’t quit. (3/3)

Yesterday, Trump offered nearly every civilian federal worker 8 months free pay if they’ll just quit their jobs.
This applies to the EPA specialists who are making the Palisades safe by going in their hazmat suits and dealing with the lithium ion batteries and other hazardous materials. (2/3)
#Trump is urging disaster workers to quit February 1st in the middle of our disaster recovery. (1/3)

Wow -- Rep. Brad Sherman tells Trump, "I would never turn to somebody from Louisiana and say, 'you keep living on your cousins's coach until Louisiana agrees with me on a woman's right to choose.'"
Trump claims the individual Californians devastated by the fires should get no aid until California changes its laws on subjects that have nothing to do with fire.
Should Democrats oppose aid to Louisiana hurricane victims until that state changes its abortion laws?
Pleased to have been selected to serve as the Democratic ranking member on the House Committee on Financial Services Capital Markets Subcommittee.
So pleased, that I went to my favorite sandwich place in the tunnels under the Capitol.
Trump's #Inauguration speech included a gut punch to our firefighters who put their lives on the line to defend us from the #PalisadesFire

Several false statements by #DonaldTrump, particularly about Panama Canal.
#InaugurationDay
#DonaldTrump seems to denigrate our firefighting efforts but does not speak on providing help to victims. Hope that becomes his focus.

Thank you @amyklobuchar.com for praising those fighting fires in Los Angeles in your short speech.
I’m relieved to see innocent hostages begin to return home to their families after 470 grueling days in captivity.
In order to free these hostages, #Israel is being forced to release terrorists serving time for murdering innocent civilians. #BringThemAllHome
It’s important elected officials see the destruction first-hand to fully understand the scope and need for recovery funds — without conditions. 2/2

Yesterday, I joined Congresswoman Judy Chu and several colleagues to view the devastation from the Eaton Fire.
From Altadena to Pacific Palisades, the loss is incomprehensible.
That same day, several colleagues joined me in a damage assessment of Malibu and the #PacificPalisades. 1/2

Thank you to Rep Judy Chu for leading a briefing and tour with local officials of the Eaton Fire devastation.
Joined with Sen Schiff and Representatives Brad Sherman, Nanette Barragan, Dave Min, George Whitesides and Derek Tran.
Great to welcome brave Israeli firefighters to L.A. who have joined the effort to contain the #LosAngelesFires
#Israel is not just sending firefighters but absorbing all costs to do so.
Some areas continue to be under a mandatory evacuation. From time to time, fire authorities are allowing residents to return to particular areas.
