ICE wants to operate without oversight. DHS is now requiring advanced warning and written consent for Members of Congress to speak with detainees about their treatment. I joined 77 Democrats demanding ICE reverse this change immediately.

We forced a vote on the bipartisan Faster Labor Contracts Act — and now it has passed the House. When workers vote to form a union, some employers try to delay a contract indefinitely by dragging their feet at the negotiating table. This bill closes that loophole. It's a win for working people.

This means Trump & his family can never again be audited or sued for prior tax fraud — potentially letting them off the hook for $100 million+ in unpaid taxes. A few Republicans joined all Democrats in Congress to kill the slush fund when it got too embarrassing, but they let this provision slide.
