I met with Delta frontline crew members to discuss the critical role aviation workers play in identifying and preventing human trafficking. I’m grateful for their leadership in protecting vulnerable people, supporting survivors, and helping hold traffickers accountable.

ICE made over 2,300 arrests in Michigan last year. In West Michigan, nearly three-quarters of those arrested had no criminal record — directly contradicting President Trump’s stated priorities. These actions highlight the urgent need for oversight, transparency, and accountability.
