#FactCheckFriday Speaker Johnson claims that the Congressional Budget Office’s report on the President and Congressional Republicans’ “big, beautiful” bill is partisan and inaccurate. (1/3)
Our neighbors to the North are critical trading partners and I remain committed to protecting and expanding our trading relationship. I proudly accept his award on behalf of our district.
Canada is the United States’ #1 customer, buying more goods from the U.S. than China, Japan, France, and the U.K combined. Our district alone exports over $645 million in goods to Canada each year, supporting 4,700 local jobs.

“Disgusting abomination” That’s what Elon Musk is now calling the President and Congressional Republicans’ bill slashing health care for 16 million Americans and adding $5 trillion to our national debt.
A screenshot of a tweet posted by Elon Musk saying: “I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.”
The President has fired thousands of veterans and VA staff, taken a sledgehammer to the PACT Act serving vets exposed to toxic substances, and canceled hundreds of contracts for programs supporting veterans’ mental health and addressing veteran homelessness.
Republicans' one big, ugly bill slashes health care for 16 million people, cuts nutrition assistance for 11 million people, and hands tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy. On today’s Democratic Daily Download, @mikethompson.house.gov shares how Democrats are fighting it every step of the way.
Now, DOGE is admitting they lied about saving $1 trillion for taxpayers and now claim only $175 billion of unproven savings and charged no one with fraud. They're leaving Americans worse off.

Joined my colleagues on the Steering & Policy Committee today as Democrats travel across our country to testify to the harm this administration is inflicting upon our nation’s veterans. Watch the livestream of our forum in Norfolk, Virginia below. www.youtube.com/live/zPmCPkz...
Horrified and heartbroken by the antisemitic attack in Boulder, Colorado. Thank you to law enforcement for acting swiftly. I remain deeply alarmed by the rising reports of hate crimes and hate speech against Jewish people across our country.
June is #PrideMonth—a time to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and stand up for equality. We’ve made progress, but the fight isn’t over. This month, let’s recommit to our effort to ensure equality.

Guns are the leading cause of death for children and teens in the United States. During National #GunViolenceAwarenessMonth, we’re holding those who fail to take action on gun violence accountable, because our kids deserve to be safe.

On June 1, 2022, a gunman opened fire in the Natalie Building at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, killing four people — including three dedicated hospital staff. Today, we remember their lives and the immense loss felt by their families, colleagues, and community.
