For a century and a half, our community has been the heart of Napa Valley, shaped by generations who built its rich history, strong values, and vibrant spirit. Here’s to everyone who makes St. Helena so special, and to many more years ahead.
Happy 150th birthday, St. Helena! This is where I was born, grew up, raised my family, and still live today, and I couldn’t be prouder to call it home.
That’s why I'm continuing to call for more federal funding to protect and expand these services and working with my colleagues to ensure they have support.
Libraries are lifelines for our communities - providing free internet, learning resources, and safe spaces for families, students, veterans, and seniors.
Thank you to the over 130 people who joined me for my Ask Me Anything event in Sonoma Valley. Always glad to hear your questions and discuss my work delivering for our community. Such a great show of solidarity and community when people get together and are passionate.
People in our community need safe routes to get to schools and shopping, and this project will help make our roads safer for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers.
Proud to present $1.2 million in federal funding to Sonoma County to construct new bike lanes and sidewalks along State Route 12, where accidents have led to tragic fatalities in recent years.
As Chair of the House Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, I will continue to fight for sensible gun violence prevention legislation. No community should have to live in fear of gun violence.
Eight years ago, young people across this country took to the streets and demanded that their leaders act on gun violence. Their courage sparked a movement, and that movement is still going strong.
This war in Iran is costing us the lives of American servicemembers and over a billion a day in taxpayer dollars. It needs to end.
There's no reason agents should be given free rein to pose as TSA and intimidate travelers. (2/2)
ICE is operating cruelly and without restraint. This is exactly what I feared would happen when Republicans created this agency, and why I voted against creating ICE. This agency can't carry out its own job lawfully. (1/2)
Leslie's tireless work makes Napa County a better, safer, and more just place to live.
As a member of the steering committee for the Napa County Prescribed Burn Association, she has worked to protect our communities from wildfire. And through her service on the Napa County Democratic Central Committee, she has fought to make sure every voice in Napa is heard.
As Chair of Planned Parenthood Northern California Action Fund and Vice-Chair of Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California, she has been a fierce defender of reproductive rights and health care access.
Proud to announce Leslie Lew as the 2026 Napa County Woman of the Year. Leslie is the kind of community leader who never stops showing up.
Through her leadership with the Women's Action Network and her work to establish the Solano Commission for Women and Girls, she has fought to make our community more just and more equal. Margi's life of service is an inspiration to us all.
She created the Vacaville High School Special Education Scholarship to open doors for students with disabilities, and co-created Play 4 All Park to ensure every child in Vacaville has a place to belong.
Proud to announce Margi Stern as the 2026 Solano County Woman of the Year. For 37 years as a speech pathologist, Margi has championed those who often go unheard, and her impact extends far beyond the clinic.
Her compassion, courage, and commitment have saved lives and brought hope to countless families across Sonoma County. This recognition is deeply deserved.
