Trump is actively investing in companies which his administration regulates & awards taxpayer funded contracts to.   Trump is making millions off your tax dollars, all the while his policies are spiking inflation & putting life out of reach for millions of working Americans.
Trump is 'dropping' his bogus lawsuit against the IRS in exchange for a slush fund, courtesy of your tax dollars, that he can use to pay off his political allies. While people drown in high prices & inflation — Trump’s lining his & his buddies’ pockets. We will fight this.
Trump's illegal war in Iran has raised the average cost of owning a home by $30,000 & that's after his tariffs increased homebuilding costs by thousands. Trump & his HUD Secretary can dance around the facts, but their policies are pricing people out of the American Dream.
Today, I offered an amendment that would have shut this scam down. My amendment would've prevented self-dealing by public officials — including the President & members of Congress — who own or promote digital asset companies, including crypto. Every Republican voted against it.
Trump's corruption has been well documented, but perhaps one of his most outrageous — and lucrative — schemes has been his personal meme coin. Since its launch, Trump has made over $200 MILLION from it while those everyday Americans who have invested have lost BILLIONS.
There is no place for antisemitism in our country. The graffiti at New Market Middle School is the latest such incident in our state. Schools should be safe spaces for our kids.   We must condemn antisemitism wherever it raises its ugly head. www.fredericknewspost.com/news/educati...
Yesterday, FBI Director Kash Patel told me he'd take Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test if I did. Well, here's mine.   Given all the lies he told yesterday, I imagine he'll fudge the numbers here, but let's see yours, Director Patel.
24 sources told The Atlantic that Kash Patel’s heavy drinking impeded his ability to do his job. He denied it. He also told provable lies during this hearing. And at the end, he refused to acknowledge that is a crime to lie to Congress. It is.
Americans are already struggling to make ends meet, & now Trump's illegal war is driving up prices everywhere from the gas pump to the grocery store.   Ending this war will protect our troops, lower costs, & rein in this lawless president.
12 days after gutting the Voting Rights Act, SCOTUS has turned back the clock in Alabama. Like Louisiana, this will dilute Black voting power and dismantle protections needed to fight discrimination.  Another dark day for our democracy.
While millions lose their insurance thanks to Trump & Republicans' decision to slash Medicaid & ACA tax credits, corporate hospitals are jacking up prices.    Let's end the system that allows corporations to rake in huge profits from sick people. It's time for Medicare for All.
Corporate Hospitals Bilking Americans as GOP Destroys Health Care

Patients are caught in the middle of a corporate money grab and lawmakers who refuse to regulate.
Today marks 4 years since Palestinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh was shot & killed by the IDF while reporting in the West Bank. Both the Trump & Biden admins have failed to get justice for her killing. [1/2]
It's this simple: Government officials shouldn't be making rules that govern businesses that they or their families OWN. But time and again Trump admin officials are caught doing that. More corruption from the most corrupt admin in history.
Marylanders will pay $1.6 BILLION over the next 10 yrs to subsidize the power needs of Big Tech's data centers. You should NOT have to pay for Big Tech's profits. My Power for the People Act would make data centers pay for their power, instead of passing costs onto consumers.
Since the "ceasefire" the Netanyahu govt has steadily taken control of more territory in Gaza, squeezing civilians into tighter areas, pushing them toward the sea. Where the hell is the Trump Admin & its so-called “Board of Peace” amidst this land grab?
