Reports of supply shortages, poor living conditions, and deteriorating mental health are alarming. The Trump administration must end this war of choice and the strain it’s putting on our men and women in uniform.
We saw it with the USS Ford, and now we’re seeing it with the USS Lincoln. These carriers’ extended deployments put the health and well-being of our sailors at risk. President Trump needs to end his war of choice and stop straining our military and servicemembers.
Here’s an idea – listen to the people who know what they’re talking about. When I visited the Ford last month, they talked about how that ship was night-and-day different than the old class of carriers.
Don’t forget that Republicans designed their Big Ugly Bill to go into full effect after this election. They know their Medicaid cuts are devastating and indefensible – they want to wait until there’s no accountability.
It was great celebrating $16 million in federal funding for the Virginia Advanced Pharma Manufacturing Tech Hub yesterday! This funding is going to help train a strong workforce, create good-paying jobs in the Richmond-Petersburg area, and ensure that our critical medicines are made at home.
Masked agents pointing a gun at an unarmed American citizen and threatening her for exercising her rights is unacceptable. We need commonsense reforms to strengthen ICE’s accountability and transparency now.
Video of an ICE agent pulling a gun on a wife and mother, who is a US citizen born and raised in the area, near Bailey's Crossroads in Northern Virginia yesterday. Chillingly, they claimed she “almost ran them over” until she told them she had video proving that was a lie.
While Americans are struggling to afford gas, groceries, and other basic necessities, Trump is blowing $900 million — much of it taxpayer-funded — on vanity projects at the White House.
We can’t put AI back in the bottle. So each and every week in Congress, I’m laser-focused on passing real solutions that help us protect jobs, safeguard our national security, and outcompete our adversaries.
It’s not just in your head. The average family has spent $2,600 more on essentials since Trump took office. His costly war and disastrous tariffs have created an enormous tax on everything you buy.
