Wishing everyone in Rhode Island and across the nation a Happy Thanksgiving filled with gratitude, great food, and meaningful time with loved ones.
Today and everyday, I’m very thankful to represent such an incredible district in Congress! #Thanksgiving #RI01
Celebrated the season of giving thanks this week with the Elisha Project in Pawtucket to distribute holiday goods, produce, shelf-stable goods, and hygienic products.
While we work to build climate change resilience in the Ocean State, I was proud to join the Rhode Island Congressional Delegation in delivering $31.9 million to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions from construction projects across the state.
Yesterday, I joined AmericorpsRI at RLB Elementary to see firsthand how their CityYear members are making a difference for their school.
After some high fives and math lessons, I had the chance to speak with Americorps members from across our state about their public service work.
Congratulations to Tiverton’s own Geraldine Perry who, alongside the Goldman family, had the honor of switching on the Big Blue Bug for the holiday season!
In 1990, she was chosen out of 1,000 entries to name this Rhode Island icon: Nibbles Woodaway!
I’m proud to serve in our state’s congressional delegation alongside: Senator Jack Reed, @whitehouse.senate.gov, and Congressman Seth Magaziner. Together, we’re fighting to create economic opportunities, lower costs, and bring home resources to RI.
I grew up in Pawtucket, RI as the son of two immigrants from West Africa. My story is familiar to many in Rhode Island — one of hard work, grit, resilience, and determination. Thanks to the community that invested in me, I worked for President Obama, RI Governor Raimondo, and President Biden.
Hello? Is this thing on?🎙️
I’m Congressman Gabe Amo and I proudly represent Rhode Island’s First District in the U.S. House of Representatives. In Congress, I’m focused on strengthening retirement security for seniors, ending gun violence, investing in our Blue Economy, and so much more.⬇️
