Great to be in Bothell to celebrate the opening of aerospace company Portal’s new offices & manufacturing facility. I’m excited to see the Pacific Northwest continue growing as a leader in space technology.
As a former researcher, I know how important federal investments are for developing cures & treatments while also creating jobs & supporting businesses. Trump’s medical research cuts would have broad & painful impacts in our communities.
This Women’s History Month, we celebrate the contributions of women past & present who have built, strengthened, & inspired our country.
The Republican funding bill gives more control of our government to Trump & Musk while cutting programs that support you.
I voted no & am glad to have the leadership of our Sens. Murray & Cantwell as we fight for our communities.
Calling all WA-01 high school artists!

Happy Holi to all who celebrate in WA & around the world!
May the Festival of Colors bring joy, renewal, & hope for the coming year.
Saddened by the passing of my colleague Rep. Raúl Grijalva. My thoughts are with his family, friends, & the Arizona community.
The unfortunate but expected outcome of Trump's trade war. Other countries will target American companies & farmers with tariffs of their own. It’s easy to lose customers but hard to win them back.

Thank you to city officials from Kenmore, Lake Stevens, Redmond, Bothell, Arlington, & Marysville for meeting with me today to discuss ways we can improve our communities.
Trump’s illegal attempt to dismantle the Education Department will slash federal funding for public schools nationwide, eliminate programs for children with disabilities, & cut programs that make attending college affordable.
Trump’s trade war is raising prices on families & making it harder for business owners like farmers to stay afloat.
Trump is doubling tariffs on Canadian steel & aluminum, making it more expensive to build homes, factories, & products like the planes we manufacture in Washington.
Where are Congressional Republicans on this executive overreach that will cost their constituents more? Silent.
Trump’s definition of ‘efficiency’ is letting tax cheats & wealthy donors get away with not paying their fair share while middle-class families play by the rules.

Trump’s trade war is creating a stock sell-off. Many including families, retirees, & small businesses will feel the impact.
Apprenticeships teach valuable skill sets that lead to good-paying jobs. My bill would help more Americans gain this experience without sacrificing their ability to pay for rent or put food on the table.
Trump is betraying the millions of veterans who have sacrificed so much for our country & our freedoms. We must uphold our commitment to care for them.
Republicans & big corporations continue to undermine workers & their ability to collectively bargain for better pay, benefits, & working conditions. I’m supporting the PRO Act so we can level the playing field & grow the middle class.
This week, I joined my colleagues in reintroducing the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act so we can repeal restrictive voting laws & ensure every American’s voice is heard at the ballot box.
