Congratulations to the newest justice on the Washington State Supreme Court, Justice Colleen Melody!

“We need to rebuild, protect, and support local regional food infrastructure.”
Mike Callicrate, an independent cattle producer, details his experience in the industry as monopolies have taken over the market. Listen to his story:
Today, I joined local leaders and advocates to organize our response to the potential for surging ICE presence in our community.
We are coordinated and will not back down. ICE has no place in Seattle.
I met with the Seattle Mayor, King County Executive, and a coalition of labor, faith, and immigrant rights groups to strategize on how we can all defend our community from ICE.
We’re standing together and staying coordinated to protect our community from Trump’s attacks.
As co-chair of the Monopoly Busters Caucus, I hosted a field hearing this week on how we can take on the mega-corporations that are driving up the cost of groceries.
Thank you to all @repemilyrandall.bsky.social, @repkimschrier.bsky.social, and @repvalhoyle.bsky.social, and the witnesses.
Don Lemon and Georgia Fort were arrested by federal agents for documenting ICE protests in MN.
Trump’s DOJ is going down his hit list of political enemies. This is a blatant attack on the First Amendment and the press.

Thank you to @repemilyrandall.bsky.social, @repkimschrier.bsky.social, and @repvalhoyle.bsky.social for coming to the first Monopoly Busters Caucus field hearing on corporate consolidation and rising food prices.
Yesterday, @repemilyrandall.bsky.social and I met with workers and union leaders at the Starbucks Workers United Strike Kitchen.
So proud of these workers who are standing up for the working conditions and pay they deserve! It’s time for Starbucks to come to the table and negotiate.
At my town hall, we stood together to send our love and support to Minnesota as Trump and DHS continue their deadly assault on the community.
We will NEVER stop fighting for our people, this country, and our democracy.
Democrats are demanding answers from Pam Bondi and the DOJ on their refusal to investigate the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti.
The American people need an independent investigation. NOW.
ICYMI: Special Counsel Jack Smith testified before the Judiciary Committee about his case against Trump and the evidence showing Trump tried to steal the 2020 election and incited an insurrection.
Failing to hold Trump accountable is catastrophic for our democracy.
There are 73,000 people sitting in for profit, private immigrant mass incarceration facilities right now — most of whom never committed a crime.
Trump isn’t going after the worst of the worst, he is just terrorizing our communities. We cannot give another dime to DHS, ICE, and CBP.
I’ll say this again — the immigration system is a CIVIL system, not criminal. Yet Trump’s DHS snatching up thousands of immigrants and throwing them into private, for profit prisons with no regard for their rights.
Senate Democrats must continue to stand strong and refuse to send DHS and ICE another dime as they terrorize our communities.
Our safety, our lives, and our constitutional rights depend on it.
From farms to grocery store shelves — monopolies are hurting the folks who grow our food, local businesses, and consumers.
We can take on this corporate consolidation and lower costs for the American people.
Happening now: I’m hosting a field hearing on corporate consolidation and rising grocery prices. Food is something that should be accessible for every American.
As costs continue to go up, I am working to shine a light on the root causes and hold those responsible accountable.
Today, I joined students at UW Law School to discuss my antitrust work with the Monopoly Busters Caucus.
Thank you to Danica Noble and Jonathan Kanter for such a great conversation, and to all of the UW students who showed up with great questions!
HAPPENING SOON: I’m hosting a field hearing alongside local leaders and other members of Congress on corporate consolidation and rising food prices.
If you aren’t able to make it in person, watch live: www.youtube.com/watch?v=NC98...
DHS agents are terrorizing our communities and killing people on our streets with no accountability from the Trump administration.
Congress cannot hand them another dime for this lawlessness.

Last night, I hosted my 127th town hall, where hundreds of folks came to make their voices heard and stand together in community to protect our democracy.
If you weren’t able to make it, I hope to see you at the next one.
