✅ Here’s how I’m putting money back in the pockets of southern Nevadans: After more than a year of delays with the Social Security Administration, Peter contacted my office and I helped him get the $31,068 in benefits he was owed.
Had such a blast at the NAN Family Engagement Community Birthday Party and got to celebrate families, community connection, and uplift Black excellence here in southern Nevada and across our country. Happy birthday to everyone born in February–including NAN’s own Dr. Bush!
So great to stop by Blo Las Vegas Southwest and meet with head stylist, Shawna. This woman-owned, family-run small business is a perfect example of the entrepreneurs who keep our local economy strong and our community vibrant.
So proud to have secured over $4 million in federal funding for the new fMRI machine at UNLV’s Division of Research. I look forward to seeing how it will strengthen research and enhance training for medical and health physics students here in southern Nevada.
Sen. Cortez Masto and I are so glad that our common-sense Help Hoover Dam Act successfully made it through Congress with broad, bipartisan support and will cut through federal red tape and free tens of millions of dollars in long-stranded funding for Hoover Dam capital improvement projects. (3/3)
The Hoover Dam is as much a wonder of the West today as it was when it first became part of the Nevada landscape 90 years ago, and it continues to provide us with power, water, and recreational opportunities. (1/3)
The Nevada Department of Veterans Services has VA accredited Veterans Service Officers that know the VA system, understand the paperwork, and work with you to file your claim the right way. The best part? It’s at no cost. (2/3)
As a member of the New Democrat Coalition, I know that so many working families are struggling to make ends meet. That's why we just released an agenda that provides real, commonsense solutions for how Congress can lower costs on everything from health care to groceries.
Great to celebrate Lunar New Year at the Vietnamese American Community of Las Vegas’s Tet Festival! I’m hoping the Year of the Fire Horse brings optimism and opportunity to all our Vietnamese American families this year.
新年快乐! 새해 복 많이 받으세요! Chúc mừng Năm Mới! Southern Nevada is home to one of the fastest growing Asian American communities in the country. I’m so proud to represent such a vibrant and amazing community. Wishing all who celebrate a happy Lunar New Year and a prosperous year ahead!
Had a wonderful time at the 17th annual Black History Month Festival at Springs Preserve, celebrating this year’s theme: "A Century of Black History Commemorations." This month and ever, we commemorate the tremendous contributions of African Americans to southern Nevada's rich history and culture.
