Honoring 90 years of Social Security!
It’s one of the most successful programs in our country's history— providing peace of mind and security for millions.
I won't stop fighting to protect Social Security from any attempt by this Administration to gut it.
The rollback of pollution standards by this Administration flies in the face of science and puts our communities at further risk of toxic air pollution and higher energy costs. 84 of my colleagues and I are fighting back and defending our communities and climate.
On National Purple Heart Day, we honor and remember the valor and selfless service of our nation's Purple Heart recipients.
These service members deserve the utmost respect for their profound sacrifices for our country.
We owe a debt that can never be repaid.
Trump's EPA is trying to weaken our ability to combat the worsening climate crisis. Climate change is here and now, causing extreme weather and devastation. Ignoring it is not a real plan.
Trump’s job numbers are weak, which is no surprise given that he’s been tanking our economy with blanket tariffs and constant chaos.
Instead of trying to fix things, he just fired the official who told him about his weak job numbers.
That's not leadership, that’s a temper tantrum.
Dreamers have protections against unjust detention and deportation. Telling them to "self-deport" from the only country they've ever called home is absolutely wrong and cruel. Trump's anti-immigrant agenda is out of control. I'll keep fighting back in Congress.

The Constitution gives Congress the power of the purse. The president's job is to "faithfully execute" the decisions we've made and he has signed into law. He may not impound, redirect or confiscate money outside federal law.
Last night, House Republicans rushed through Trump's recissions package. It's a rubber stamp of DOGE's cuts and cancels funds that have already been approved (and that Republicans voted for). Congress has the power of the purse, but this GOP-led Congress won't stand up to Trump. I voted NO.
