Trump and Republicans made sure to pass tax cuts for billionaires, and then they let ACA tax credits expire. This is the result. It's inexcusable.

I joined my colleagues Rep. Peters, Levin, and Jacobs yesterday to speak out against ICE's abuses. They have murdered innocent people in our streets. Get ICE out of our communities. Impeach Kristi Noem. No more funding for a rogue ICE.
On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we mourn the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and countless others who were targeted and murdered by the Nazi regime.
We honor their memory and stand united against hate and antisemitism in all forms.
Never again.
I joined hundreds of San Diego faith leaders and community members to stand united against ICE's violence.
Together, we grieve the murders of Alex Pretti and Renee Good, and other victims of this Admin.
Get ICE out of our communities now. Impeach Kristi Noem. No funding for Trump’s lawless ICE.
Another killing by Trump’s ICE agents. This is absolutely sickening.
Get ICE out of our communities now. Impeach Kristi Noem. No funding for Trump’s lawless ICE and DHS.
I voted NO on the DHS funding bill today.
No funding for a rogue agency that terrorizes our communities, escalates violence, and denies people their constitutional rights.
ICE murdered Renee Good, a young mother of three.
ICE wrongfully targeted and dragged a grandfather out of his house at gunpoint in freezing temperatures.
ICE detained a five-year-old in his driveway and used him as bait to lure people out of his house. His family has an active asylum case.
Trump's attempt to illegally fire Fed Governor Dr. Lisa Cook is a power grab. It's all part of his continued quest to seize control of our central bank.
As the Supreme Court heard Dr. Cook's case today, I joined my @ushousefsc.bsky.social colleagues to stand up for the Fed's independence.
This week, the House is voting on a DHS funding bill.
I will not vote to give a single cent to Trump's ICE.
No blank checks for a rogue agency that terrorizes our communities, escalates violence, and denies people their constitutional rights.
"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."
Today, we reflect on the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. In these deeply challenging times, it's more important than ever for us to build on his life's work and continue the fight for justice, equality, and dignity for all.
It's absolutely outrageous that the DOJ has threatened Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell with a criminal indictment. These threats from Trump represent a total assault on the Fed's independence - something that is critical to the health of our economy. It must end.
Corrupt and baseless. Fed Chair Powell hasn't bent to Trump's will and now the DOJ is out to punish him for it. I'm calling for an end to this sham probe and an immediate investigation into the DOJ's inquiry. Additionally, the Senate must refuse to move any Trump Fed nominee.
I'm calling for the Department of Justice to end this sham probe. Additionally, the Senate shouldn't confirm a new Federal Reserve Chair until this Administration ends this bogus investigation and the legal matter is resolved. 3/3
