I joined Jim Sciutto on CNN to talk about the Trump administration’s actions involving Venezuela — which they've carried out with zero briefings to Congress — and to share my perspective as a member of the House Intelligence Committee. Watch here:

HNY to all but mostly to those in Memphis,Tennessee where we can be Walking in Memphis in our Blue Suede Shoes or listen to Rev.Al or Green Onions or Uptown Funk.We can welcome those who tour Graceland,Stax &the National Civil Rights Museum, the Zoo 2 And to all who grit n grind to make Memphis#1
No one has shared info with intelligence committee nor do I believe any committee and maybe not even gang of 8. Trump follows rule better to ask for forgiveness than for permission. He wants Venezuelan oil. He’s not making any friends in the Caribbean. Only friends are Putin,Netanyahu,&Middle East
I’m scheduled to be on CNN 715 give or take tonight. Sometimes they run over sometimes you know whatever happens with the television, but I suspect we’ll be on.
I’m urging Gov. Lee to apply for Summer EBT before Thursday’s deadline—funding to help feed nearly 700,000 kids in TN while school is out. Last year, the state turned down this funding and ran an alternative that reached only a handful of rural counties—no one in Shelby or Tipton County was served.
I’ll listen to part of the deposition. The American people deserve to listen to it as well. Jack Smith is an American hero who has stood up for American values all his life.
I voted for the Epstein Files Transparency Act, and it became law 30 days ago. What this Administration has produced so far is wildly incomplete. They are slow-walking disclosure and shielding key facts about Epstein’s operation. The law is not optional, and defying it will have consequences.
