Today I joined my @usprogressives.bsky.social colleagues to speak out against President Trump's illegal deportations.
In the United States, justice happens in a court room, in front of a judge, with facts and evidence. That’s the standard – and it should apply to everyone.

America’s unions are hitting the streets tomorrow for #MayDay, the day the world celebrates the bravery of workers throughout history who have sacrificed for safety, dignity and justice on the job.
Join the fight for a better future for workers:
50% of jobs need more than a high school diploma but less than a college degree.
Apprenticeships let people earn while they learn, avoid mountains of debt & fill our workforce needs. I’ll keep fighting to expand access to these opportunities.

The first 100 days of the Trump Administration have been a debacle.
ICYMI: Despite slashing govt programs we rely on, crashing markets, and threatening Social Security and Medicare, Elon Musk & this admin have spent $220 BILLION MORE this year than Democrats did at this same point last year.
BTW, that's also before they gave the Pentagon ANOTHER $150 BILLION.

Across these first 100 days, working people have faced relentless attacks. Every step of the way, the labor movement has pushed back — standing up for workers’ rights, organizing for better jobs, and fighting for the promise of real opportunity for all.
100 days into this administration and working people are still getting left behind. Our costs are up, our services are gutted and our rights are under attack. We need a gov that works for us—not just the wealthy. Every American deserves a fair shot and a voice that counts, and I’m not backing down.

"Together on this Workers’ Memorial Day, let us ensure that our members who lost their lives due to unsafe workplaces have not died in vain." @shawnfainuaw.bsky.social

On Workers Memorial Day, we remember those who have tragically died on the job and reflect on the state of safety and health protections in our country.
A safe workplace is a fundamental right, and we’ll keep fighting until that’s a reality for EVERY worker.

Inadequate workplace safety laws resulted in the deaths of 5,283 workers, and an estimated 135,304 workers died from occupational diseases.
Every worker has the right to come home safe at the end of the day, but that basic right is under attack.

14 years ago in a senseless act of violence, we lost a giant of a man who was just doing his duty, protecting and serving our community. Officer Chris Kilcullen was kind, smart and dedicated. His life was tragically cut short but won’t be forgotten. #RIP
Here you go! Thanks for sharing!
Pope Francis was known as the People's Pope for his humility, humanity, and dedication to a life of service.
These people would have sent the Lord and Savior himself to jail for his work on behalf of the poor and suffering. There are no other words for it other than sick and depraved.
This administration continues to assault Social Security, but these are EARNED benefits, and we won't let them disappear.
This Wednesday, I am hosting a townhall to hear from you.
I hope you'll join me in person or on our YouTube live stream.
