We have to reclaim our power. We must listen to the wisdom of the courageous civil rights leaders who came before us and showed us the way forward. When enough of us stand together and fight back, we cannot be silenced.
Today I traveled to Selma with my colleagues in Congress to take a stand against the radical right-wing plot to suppress Black political representation and dismantle our democracy by gutting the Voting Rights Act. We’ve made too much progress in this country to go backwards. We won’t be silenced.
Honored to accept Worcester Community Action Council’s Sargent Shriver Trailblazer Award! WCAC helps our neighbors in Central MA meet their basic needs by providing heating, nutrition & education support. This award inspires me to keep fighting for our shared values.
Inflation & gas prices just hit a 3-year high. Housing & healthcare have never been more expensive. …and Trump wants you to think we’re in an economic golden age?! Who are you going to believe—a career con man or your empty wallet?
Trump pardoned hundreds of sex predators & violent criminals who beat cops on January 6th. Now, they’re back on our streets—raping, assaulting, and murdering Americans. I don’t want to hear a damn thing from my Republican colleagues about “law and order.”
The Billionaire Epstein Class is making more than ever before while the rest of us are just struggling to get by. In Donald Trump’s own words, he doesn’t care: “Not even a little bit.”
Food is medicine, and medically tailored meals save lives. HUGE thank you to Community Servings for providing nutritious, scratch-cooked meals to people with chronic disease. My bill—the Medically Tailored Home-Delivered Meals Program Pilot Act—will expand access to those life saving meals.
Inflation & gas prices are at the highest level in years. The cost of groceries, housing & healthcare is at an all-time high. You can thank Trump’s stupid tariffs & his reckless war of choice with Iran.
Xi Jinping jails dissidents, crushes free speech and abuses human rights. Our own government says he’s committing genocide against Uyghurs. Yet Trump praises him—attacking American judges, journalists and educators with more venom than he ever uses to attack foreign dictators.
Trump on Xi Jinping: "He's a great gentleman. I find him to be an amazing man. And when I say that the press always says, 'Oh, that's terrible'…Well, you know, he runs 1.4 billion people with a pretty iron fist."
