The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm advisory for residents across the Twin Cities Metro. Hazardous conditions are expected this evening with rain transitioning to snow. Exercise caution if you plan on traveling tonight. www.weather.gov/mpx
Let me be abundantly clear: I strongly oppose the Trump administration’s actions to stoke conflict and division in our community. People have a right to express their first amendment freedoms, including protesting actions by their government, but they have a solemn obligation to do so peacefully.
Today, masked federal agents were involved in another enforcement activity in Saint Paul, this time at a residential address the Payne-Phalen neighborhood. My office continues to seek answers about the circumstances surrounding these actions.
An attack on one is an attack on all. I stand with my fellow Minnesotans against Donald Trump’s ugly attacks on our Somali-American community. Donald Trump is creating division and chaos to distract from his failure to address the real crises facing Americans.
Tariffs are taxes — and President Trump’s chaotic tariffs are increasing the costs of everything, including your family’s Thanksgiving dinner.
My office will host neighborhood hours on Tuesday, November 25th at Woodbury City Hall from 10:00 AM until noon. My staff will be available to help you address any issue you may face in dealing with a federal agency. Learn more below. mccollum.house.gov/contact/neig...
Saint Paul’s Rondo Library will be closed starting Monday, December 15th for renovations and will be closed for up to a year. Community members can still access the library and services at the Hallie Q. Brown Community Center starting January 3rd.

The Somali-American community is a vibrant part of our state, and I stand with them amid Trump’s attacks. Americans deserve better.
Donald Trump’s ugly late-night threats against Minnesota’s Somali community do nothing to address the rising cost of living for all Americans from the Trump-Republican health care crisis, tariffs, and tax breaks for billionaires.
The holiday season is upon us! Saint Paul is hosting two tree lightings in downtown, offering some early festive spirit and a great time for families and children of all ages. www.twincities.com/2025/11/12/h...
See my previous op-ed on Trump’s Ukraine pressure plan ⬇️ www.startribune.com/us-rep-betty...
President Trump’s latest proposal to end Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine would bring a false peace. Not only would Trump’s plan force another illegal land grab by Russia, it would let Putin off the hook for his horrendous war crimes and the kidnapping of thousands of Ukrainian children.
The Minnesota Historical Society opened a new gallery on Wednesday highlighting stories from our great state and Minnesotans' contributions to history and local culture. The gallery is open now through August. www.twincities.com/2025/11/19/m...
Political violence is unacceptable. President Trump’s death threats against Democratic Members of Congress are dangerous and wrong.
Congratulations Jesse Diggins on a historic career. I know I speak for all of Minnesota when I say we look forward to cheering you on at your last winter Olympics next year!
We cannot have one set of laws for the rich and famous and another set of laws for everyone else. It's time to release the Epstein files.
Americans want their government to focus on making life more affordable by cutting the cost of health care, food, housing, utilities, and insurance.
Trump and Congressional Republicans are doing the exact opposite: They're taxing imports, cutting health care, and slashing SNAP.

Grateful to stand with Minnesota’s Marines today for the 250th USMC Birthday cake-cutting ceremony at the Veterans Service Building. Thank you to all Marines—past, present, and future—for your dedication to our country, Semper Fi. 🎂🇺🇸
As we approach the season of Thanksgiving, my heartfelt thanks go to Mounds View U.S. Army veteran Tanner Wilde for his service to our country and his dedication and commitment to his fellow veterans here in Minnesota. www.twincities.com/2025/11/11/m...
