For the GOP, racist tropes are the train that is always on time when it comes to public assistance - “nails” & “weaves” are clearly directed at Black women.
The reality is Wisconsinites in every county rely on SNAP. Of course, Ron Johnson, who married a millionaire, will never understand.
The Trump Administration clearly plans to brazenly escalate these strikes while refusing to provide the public or CONGRESS with any information regarding basic questions about them, much less showing proof of a direct threat to national security warranting military intervention.
🚨"US job market is now 'no hire, more fire'"🚨
Driven by Donald Trump's decimation of the federal workforce and reckless economic mismanagement, the job market is collapsing.
It's only the Golden Age if you could afford a front row inauguration seat.

This week my fellow Wisconsinite, Shana, testified about how the ACA premiums keep insurance affordable for her family.
Families like Shana’s nationwide are counting on Congress to act! House Republicans need to return to work keep their constituents health care affordable.
Donald Trump’s reckless inflationary policies are hitting Americans’ wallets at the checkout counter.
And now he’s illegally denying SNAP benefits to 42 million children, families, veterans and seniors in November.
Donald Trump’s legacy: leaving Americans poorer and hungrier.
FACT CHECK: No, they did not “retract” it.
Republicans continue to lie through their teeth about the impacts of their self-inflicted health care crisis.
Republicans cut Medicaid for millions of Americans, and millions more will be priced out of the ACA marketplace. Many people who lose care will take on medical debt, and now Trump is allowing medical debt to be counted on credit scores again!!
The Republican agenda leaves Americans sicker & poorer.
Since February, 16-year-old American citizen Mohammed Zaher Ibrahim has been detained in an Israeli prison known for human rights abuses with no trial & no family contact.
His well-being & health are at risk.
I joined my colleagues in calling for the Trump admin to secure his release.
🌬️Republicans are blowing us off as Americans are set to be blown away by rising insurance premiums November 1st.
House Democrats are in D.C. and calling on Speaker Johnson to bring Republicans back from vacation and come to the table for ALL of our constituents.
It’s always a privilege to join @govevers.wisconsin.gov, @baldwin.senate.gov and @pocan.house.gov to stand together and fight to keep health care affordable for Wisconsinites.

Today, I joined my friends @govevers.wisconsin.gov, @baldwin.senate.gov, and @repgwenmoore.bsky.social to discuss how nearly every Wisconsinite will see higher healthcare costs if the Affordable Care Act tax credits expire.
We’re all fighting to make your healthcare more affordable!
Folks, the numbers are out and they don’t paint a pretty picture: health care costs are set to rise for millions of Americans if ACA subsidies aren’t extended.
Instead of addressing this crisis, Republicans are on a paid vacation.
I am dismayed by the Trump administration’s decision to withhold Public Assistance FEMA relief from Wisconsin following August’s historic flooding.
I support Governor Evers taking the necessary steps to appeal this decision.
Our state was forced to wait for nearly two months for the Trump administration’s ill-advised and disappointing decision.
I will do everything in my power to push for this decision to be reversed.

If Republicans allow ACA premiums to expire, the most vulnerable women are the ones who get priced out of health care.
This #DVawarenssmonth, I’m calling on the GOP to prove their claims of being pro-women and children and keep millions of women insured.
🚨🚨 “Latest inflation data shows prices rose by fastest pace since January
Meanwhile, this week the Liar-In-Chief Donald Trump declared inflation “defeated.”
Republican’s reckless agenda is hitting Americans hard at the checkout counter.”

Listening 🎧 on repeat: WH confirms Trump’s main priority is building the One Big, Beautifull Ballroom.
Republicans are putting the One Big, Beautiful Ballroom™️ above any of the promises they made to the American people.
We’re all trying to find the guy who did this!
In the midst of a federal government shutdown, the U.S. government’s gross national debt surpassed $38 trillion Wednesday, a record number that highlights the accelerating accumulation of debt on America’s balance sheet. https://to.pbs.org/3Wksib6
