It’s always fantastic when we can all get together to uplift the amazing work OCA Sacramento has done for our community.
OCA is a beacon for our AAPI community. From fighting for social justice and equal opportunity – to community building and civic engagement. [1/2]

Thank you, Mayor Martha Guerrero, Councilwoman Verna Sulpizio Hull, Parks and Rec Director Kate Smith, and the entire team at the City of West Sacramento for your dedication and vision. [3/3]
That’s why I was proud to help secure more than $3 million for Heritage Oaks Park. Parks are more than green space – they are where families gather, where kids play, and where communities thrive. [2/3]
One of my top priorities in Washington D.C. is to ensure that federal investments don’t just live on paper – they make a real, tangible difference here at home. [1/3]
ICE still prevented me from doing my duty and my job to protect our neighbors from alleged inhumane treatment. They can try to hide their actions, but Sacramento is united.
We are watching. We won’t let up.
[2/2]
Today, I returned to once again conduct congressional oversight of the ICE facilities at the John E. Moss Federal Building. This time with Mayor Pro Tem Eric Guerra, County Supervisor Phil Serna, and California Immigration Project advocates to demand answers and transparency. [1/2]
I do not accept that tragedy is inevitable and out of our hands. We can and must act to protect and improve the lives of our children and enhance the safety of our communities. [3/3]
Instead, a senseless act of gun violence has once again torn families apart and turned a community upside down. As a parent and a grandparent, I share in the grief we are all feeling. [2/3]
I am heartbroken by the mass shooting that took place at Annunciation Catholic School in Minnesota today. This was the first week of school, a start to a new chapter and what is supposed to be a joyous time for our kids. [1/2]
The Galt Chamber of Commerce is using small business development to reinforce their community-focused foundation. The 4th Street Promenade exemplifies that commitment.
Supporting their growth will always be a priority.
Our firefighters are heroes. That’s why I stopped by to thank them and spend some time catching up.
Their sacrifice and service to our community deserves our utmost gratitude and appreciation.
Thank you for all you do Fire Station 57!
Clean air saves lives. That’s why I will continue to use every tool at my disposal to ensure we remain at the forefront of the fight against climate change and harmful pollutants. [2/2]
In 2008 our region was given an objective: significantly reduce our air pollution by 2024. Thanks to the leadership of the Sac Metro Air District and relentless collaboration across all levels of government we have met that goal! [1/2]
I’ll always fight for smarter, more equitable economic policies that uplift the entrepreneurial spirit of all Americans. [4/4]
Charley and Crystal named their business after their wonderful daughter, Chloe, as a testament to their commitment and faith in a bright, inclusive future. America’s economic policy should empower their dreams—not stand in the way. [3/4]
Their coffee beans are sourced from the very places in Vietnam where their stories began. But because of the Trump Administration’s economic policies and tariffs, small businesses like theirs are facing unnecessary delays and rising costs. [2/4]
Charley Phung and Crystal Huynh-Kim have built something truly special at Chloé Cà Phê + Roastery. It’s a place where community and representation aren’t just a slogan, it’s a part of their foundation. [1/4]
South Sacramento is built on the strength of neighbors lifting each other up. It’s a community that shows compassion, toughness, and unity every single day.
Proud to celebrate South Sac today. I will always stand with you and fight for you.
This morning, I asserted my constitutionally mandated authority to conduct oversight of ICE facilities at the John E. Moss Federal Building. After reports of gross mistreatment of detainees, I demanded answers.
In clear violation of the law, they barred me from entering.
I will be back.
We need answers – we need clarity. I will use the full extent of my office and constitutionally mandated authority to get to the truth. I began the official oversight process and won’t stop. [2/2]
