NAP helps millions of families put food on the table each day.
Over 118,000 New Yorkers have been affected by SNAP theft – more than any other state.
I joined my NYC colleagues to announce I will be introducing legislation to restore the SNAP benefit replacement & help make EBT cards safer.
Happy #PresidentsDay, Queens!
Today we honor the leadership & legacy of the Presidents that have preserved & protected our Constitution.
We must continue to defend our freedoms & democratic values as we strive for a more perfect union.
Happy Valentine’s Day! I'm grateful to have a partner that stands by me while I stand up for the people of Queens❤️
I'm all for cutting wasteful spending. However, programs that feed children, provide health care, & lower costs for families are not waste.
The GOP budget makes major cuts to programs that Americans rely on most, like SNAP & Medicaid.
This is a betrayal to hardworking families.
Tax season in here! If you're anticipating a refund, the IRS recommends using direct deposit.
Direct deposit is the easiest, fastest, & safest way to get your refund. Paper checks are 16x more likely to be lost, stolen, or uncashed.

The price of coffee is up 53% since last year.
USAID was helping Cornell University make coffee more affordable for Americans by working with growers to strengthen supply chains.
The administration said they would lower costs, but without USAID we'll all be paying more per cup☕️
Wait, I thought the priority was lowering the costs of gas and groceries?
An honor to join the Chinese American Parents Association (CAPA) at the Queens Public Library Lantern Festival!
Celebrating Lunar New Year with my constituents in Queens is always a privilege. A wonderful afternoon spent celebrating the Year of the Snake at Queens Botanical Garden!
As CEO of SpaceX, Elon Musk & DOGE's unrestricted access to NASA is a multi-billion-dollar conflict of interest.
I wrote a letter to Acting Administrator Janet Petro calling on her to protect taxpayers & revoke DOGE's access to NASA.
Cuts to NIH funding would be devastating to critical cancer & infectious disease research taking place at SUNY, CUNY, & other institutions throughout NYS.
I'm glad to see New York standing up to these dangerous cuts & fighting for this life-saving research to continue.
Elon Musk's DOGE team gained access to NASA today. Musk is the CEO of SpaceX, which is NASA's largest private contractor.
This is a MAJOR conflict of interest.
Let's talk about it👇
The administration is shutting down the agency that protects Americans from financial fraud & predatory lending.
The CFPB returns billions to working families every year & prevents big corporations from ripping off consumers.
Now, middle class families will pay the price.
Slashing NIH funding will stunt world-class scientific & medical research in nearly every state across the country, including NY.
It will make it impossible for life-saving research for treatments for cancer & other deadly diseases to continue.
This is NOT America first.
UPDATE: Due to inclement weather, our weekend office hours scheduled for tomorrow are postponed.
We apologize for any inconveniences. Stay tuned for a new date soon!
We cannot let the GOP hand over Americans' personal information to an unelected billionaire.
I’m proud to support the Taxpayer Data Protection Act, which protects families and secures their confidential information, like SSNs & tax returns, held in the Treasury payment system.
I joined 153 of my fellow House Democrats to demand answers from the U.S. Department of the Treasury about Elon Musk's hostile takeover of our personal information.
An unelected billionaire should not have access to our SSNs, tax returns, banking information, and more.
Stories like Sarah's are the reason I'm fighting to protect Queens & other communities from a federal funding freeze.
