Trump is attacking Pope Leo for saying the obvious: War with Iran was a choice, innocent people are suffering, and threatening an entire civilization is morally indefensible. He's been clear that leaders should be working for peace, not death and destruction. Trump’s response? This insane rant.
Pope Leo is WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy. He talks about "fear" of the Trump Administration, but doesn't mention the FEAR that the Catholic Church, and all other Christian Organizations, had during COVID when they were arresting priests, ministers, and everybody else, for holding Church Services, even when going outside, and being ten and even twenty feet apart. I like his brother Louis much better than I like him, because Louis is all MAGA. He gets it, and Leo doesn't! I don't want a Pope who thinks it's OK for Iran to have a Nuclear Weapon. I don't want a Pope who thinks it's terrible that America attacked Venezuela, a Country that was sending massive amounts of Drugs into the United States and, even worse, emptying their prisons, including murderers, drug dealers, and killers, into our Country. And I don't want a Pope who criticizes the President of the United States because I'm doing exactly what I was elected, IN A LANDSLIDE, to do, setting Record Low Numbers in Crime, and creating the Greatest Stock Market in History. Leo should be thankful because, as everyone knows, he was a shocking surprise. He wasn't on any list to be Pope, and was only put there by the Church because he was an American, and they thought that would be the best way to deal with President Donald J. Trump. If I wasn't in the White House, Leo wouldn't be in the Vatican. Unfortunately, Leo's Weak on Crime, Weak on Nuclear Weapons, does not sit well with me, nor does the fact that he meets with Obama Sympathizers like David Axelrod, a LOSER from the Left, who is one of those who wanted churchgoers and clerics to be arrested. Leo should get his act together as Pope, use Common Sense, stop catering to the Radical Left, and focus on being a Great Pope, not a Politician. It's hurting him very badly and, more importantly, it's hurting the Catholic Church! President DONALD J. TRUMP
Dismantling + controlling public media. Enriching himself + his oligarch friends while the working class struggled. Manipulating elections and installing judges of his choice. Destroying the economy. Sound familiar? As Steve Bannon says, Orbán was Trump before Trump.
I was fortunate to be in Hungary in the late 90s and saw how their new democracy was flourishing. Over the course of past 16 years, Viktor Orbán has hollowed out Hungary’s newfound democracy piece by piece.
To watch these 4 amazing people travel farther than any human being ever has. To behold the breathtaking images taken by Integrity. To remember the amazing feats humankind is capable of—*if* we have the will to push ourselves. Congrats, crew! You're forever heroes in our eyes. Welcome home. (2/2)
We have splashdown! So relieved to see the crew of Artemis II—Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen—arrive safe and sound off the coast of San Diego. It’s been such an honor to follow their journey—and share that experience with the rest of the world. (1/2)

Between tariffs, this disastrous war, and surging gas prices, Maine could see a drop in tourism. When you add inflation—which just saw its biggest jump in 4 years—the outlook looks even murkier. If we do see a downturn, we'll know why: Trump’s terrible policies are making EVERYTHING cost more.
Democrats tried to bring another War Powers Resolution to the floor. Republicans immediately blocked it. Americans are fed up with this Republican Congress. The’ve given all of our power to Trump, who now has us engaged in a stupid war no one asked for. Killing in OUR name using YOUR tax dollars.
Remember: Since returning to office, Trump has made $2 BILLION. The corruption has been staggering. These bets should be illegal. That’s why I support the BETS OFF Act, to ban companies from taking wagers on war. All the more reason we need to END THIS RECKLESS WAR—and regulate these markets!
Since this war began, we’ve seen report after report of insiders placing huge, highly specific bets on military decisions and geopolitical outcomes—and banking millions. It's obscene. We deserve to know who had advance knowledge, how they got it, and whether anyone in Trump’s orbit is benefiting.
I’m a progressive Dem. Glyphosate Girl is a #MAHA activist. We're united by 3 beliefs: ✅People deserve food free of toxic chemicals. ✅People deserve honest warnings about health risks. ✅Chemical giants shouldn't get immunity when their products cause harm. Our op-ed lays out what’s at stake 👇
It’s clear the only way Netanyahu can survive politically is by engaging in perpetual warfare with his regional neighbors (and dragging the U.S. with him). Even if it means murdering innocent people and accelerating a massive regional war. And Trump has been blindly following him into the abyss.
After Iran agreed to open the Strait, they've already closed it again. Why? Israel won’t stop bombing Lebanon. More than 1,000 Lebanese have been killed since Israel began launching missiles in March. The attacks on civilian infrastructure—schools, hospitals, neighborhoods—are unconscionable.
Bondi has A LOT to answer for over her disastrous mishandling of the Epstein files—and what sure seems like a massive coverup to protect Trump. Are Oversight Republicans going to allow Bondi to defy their own committee and continue to operate as if she's above the law? Disgraceful and pathetic.
That's not how this works. At all. When a Congressional committee issues a subpoena to someone, it’s for that *person*—not the role or title. This is patently illegal and plainly unconstitutional. If Bondi refuses to comply, she should be held in contempt.
Per a House Oversight cmte. spox ⬇️ "The Department of Justice has stated Pam Bondi will not appear on April 14 for a deposition since she is no longer Attorney General and was subpoenaed in her capacity as Attorney General." @scrippsnews.bsky.social 🧵1/2
Congress has a constitutional duty to the American people. But too many Republicans seem to have forgotten that they serve the public, not the egomaniacal tyrant they've enabled at every turn. Any Republican who sees this behavior and continues to brush it off or remain silent is complicit. (5/5)
