We know so many out there are struggling right now—including students! That’s why we visited the Lobo Pantry at @unm.edu today to help spread the word about this important resource for students at UNM, who might need just a little more help to put food on the table right now. Stop by!
NM’s ranchers are the backbone of our rural economy. Instead of helping them, the Trump Admin is trying to flood the market with cheap foreign beef from Argentina.
That’s why @fernandez.house.gov, @repgabevasquez.bsky.social, and I are standing with our ranchers to demand that this plan be stopped.
As our friends at the Corrales Library put it—libraries are more than just books, they are a true commons, a great equalizer, and a gathering place that brings people together.
At a time when so much is on the line—we must contribute to support our libraries and the important stories they hold!
Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi has and will always be one of the fiercest leaders and defenders of our democracy.
Thank you for everything you’ve done for our country. It has been an honor to serve alongside you for the past four years and I’m grateful to have the opportunity to watch you lead. ❤️
My hot take on this moment: the American people have spoken loud and clear—we’re ready to reclaim our country!

Friends, I know so many are struggling out there during this shutdown. As our colleagues across the aisle continue to refuse to come to the table—we are doing everything we can to help.
My office will be hosting a resource fair this Friday, November 7th! Please stop by!
Happy Election Day, everyone! You truly could not have scripted a more villainous group of people serving at the highest levels—who are literally trying to take food away from millions of children. Democracy is a practice! Make sure your voice is heard! ❤️🤍💙
While Trump and the GOP are throwing lavish parties and sending billions to other countries, Americans are ready for leaders who listen, who care, and who know what it’s like to work hard to put food on the table and care for their families.
This Election Day, Americans will vote for those leaders.
Our food banks are keeping NM fed! If you need help with food, clothing, children’s items or anything else—please know there are amazing resources available like Storehouse West food bank in Rio Rancho and Sandoval County to help!
We are so grateful for leaders like Joe and Katy at Storehouse West!

New Mexico, tomorrow is Election Day! Polls are open from 7am – 7pm tomorrow.
One of the most powerful things you can do right now is make your voice heard and cast your vote! Let’s do this! 💪
This is a huge victory for the American people after the Administration and the GOP tried to withhold food from 42 million people. The courts have spoken—they will release the funds.
It’s Day 34 of the Shutdown, and Trump is CHOOSING to withhold food from 42 million Americans.
Meanwhile, he’s building a gilded ballroom and threw a lavish Great Gatsby party at his private club for himself and his billionaire friends. This is a “let them eat cake” moment if there ever was one.
Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you all found some time today for joy, to relax, and to spend time with loved ones—even in these tumultuous times! Sending you all so much love on this Halloween weekend from Albuquerque! 🎃
They 👏 are 👏 breaking 👏 the 👏 law.
Two judges have just ordered that the Trump Administration must release funds for SNAP benefits. The GOP and Admin trying to use hungry kids as political leverage is beyond morally reprehensible. And it’s against the law.
This is undemocratic. For over 40 days, the U.S. House of Representatives has been out of session—votes cancelled, refusing to swear in Adelita Grijalva, refusing to recognize democrats, and refusing to negotiate to reopen the government, feed children, and fix healthcare. We are fighting back!
SNAP provides ~$6 a day—which is just enough to help keep families from going hungry, but never enough to get ahead. If funds don’t go out, millions will wake up Saturday without money for groceries.
This can be averted. Trump’s USDA must release contingency funds already approved by Congress!
Hunger is a policy choice.
From our SNAP Back Act in the House, to the Senate, to our Governor & State Legislature, to our Attorney General and food banks, we are working on all fronts to make sure New Mexicans can put food on the table as this food crisis is being manufactured by the White House.
I think this tells you what you need to know about who is blocking food to American families and keeping the government shut down. ⬇️

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
