Thank you to everybody who joined me and @repbonamici.bsky.social during Centro Cultural’s virtual immigration town hall. These issues are personal, and I appreciate your willingness to show up, ask questions, and seek support. (1/2)
As the demand for electricity rises, Republicans' Big, Ugly Bill kills new infrastructure scheduled to strengthen our power grid, which will raise your electric bill, kill climate-smart jobs, and block American innovation. Their "beautiful" bill only puts our energy future at risk.

Republicans’ cuts to food assistance will hit rural communities hardest. Here's how: ❌Families will go without food ❌Grocers will lose business ❌Farmers will lose income …and more. All to pay for billionaire bailouts on the backs of hardworking Americans.

I’ve been on the other end of a phone call with someone who is having a mental health crisis. I see how important it is for people not only to have access to mental health care but also to be able to get the culturally competent care that meets them where they are. (2/4)
I’m joining my colleagues in calling out the failures of the Gaza Humanitarian Fund and urging the Trump Administration to negotiate with Israeli leaders to end the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, end the violence and return hostages to their families. (2/2)
