Republicans just released their new budget scheme: 💰$70 billion blank check for ICE and Border Patrol ❌ Nothing to lower costs or make health care affordable Americans are struggling and Republicans are choosing betrayal.
"This Republican bill doubles down on a failed agenda and does nothing to lower costs, protect health care, or make our communities safer." Ranking Member @congressmanboyle.bsky.social on the Republican Budget Resolution:
Boyle Statement on Republican Budget
Resolution

This Republican bill doubles down on a failed agenda and does nothing to lower costs, protect health care, or make our communities safer.

Republicans keep telling the American people we cannot afford health care or relief for families struggling with groceries, gas prices, and everyday costs. But they had no problem handing Donald Trump a blank check to give tax breaks for billionaires through their so-called 'Big Beautiful Bill,' and now one for an out-of-control,
unaccountable ICE. I will keep fighting to make sure our tax dollars are used to lower costs and protect health care for hardworking families.
Taxpayer-funded mass surveillance shouldn’t be used to increase the cruelty of Trump’s regime. My colleagues and I demand answers about how Trump's masked ICE and Border Patrol agents use Palantir's tools to carry out his inhumane mass deportation agenda and monitor Americans.
Gutting medical research: 🥼 chokes off the pipeline of future scientists & jobs 🧬 leads to fewer cures 🏥 keeps health costs high for families It’s out of whack that the Trump Administration funds forever wars & vanity projects, but not cancer research. We must do better.
President Trump’s administration rocked the American research enterprise over the last year with disruptions and changes to the historically reliable stream of federal funding that fueled it. Labs are running on fumes. https://wapo.st/48dWJWX
From providing rides to medical appointments to helping veterans find jobs, Rhode Island’s Disabled American Veterans are making a real difference for those who served. Proud to recognize their work expanding veteran care, benefits, and support at the 91st DAV State Convention.
