The constitution grants Americans & immigrants dignity, due process, & protection under the law. But under Sec. Noem’s leadership, ICE has descended into a lawlessness. She must be held accountable.
I also emphasized the need for full cleanup of contaminated properties and continued coordination among federal, state, and local partners to ensure survivors do not bear the brunt of paying out of pocket for remediation.
I raised several critical concerns, including transparency around which homes will be tested, the scientific standards guiding the testing process, and who will be responsible for covering the cost of any additional remediation.
It’s beyond shameful that as millions are losing their health care, this is what Trump is focused on. This should have never happened and has only created unnecessary confusion and chaos for patients and providers.
It’s been proven time and time again that immigrants are less likely to use public benefits and contribute more in taxes than they receive.
This is dangerously far-reaching and will impact millions. Freezing immigrant visa processing for over a third of all the countries in the world is reckless and discriminatory.
BREAKING: Trump administration says it will stop issuing immigrant visas for 75 countries, including Brazil, Egypt and Somalia.

For months, we’ve fought to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits. We know that without them millions of women and families will go uninsured and have to make impossible choices. Today, we have a final chance to save them. Republicans must join us. This is a matter of life and death.
While costs skyrocket, Republicans are bringing showerheads to the floor instead of focusing on lowering prices for American families. This is about pleasing Trump, at the expense of energy efficiency standards that save families money on their utility bills.
I stand with the congregation and the Jewish community as we await the results of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s investigation. Hate has no place in the San Gabriel Valley.
For over a century, the Pasadena Jewish Temple and Center has been a beloved community institution and safe haven for our Jewish neighbors and loved ones.
This is an egregious abuse of power. Americans have the right to protest without fear of retaliation or worse. Trump's violence must stop now.
Under Trump's watch, a DHS agent shot a protestor in the face with a non-lethal round at close range, fractured his skull, and then dragged him around as he choked and bled. He is now permanently blind in his left eye.
Trump just declared that the lives of millions of Americans are expendable as long as corporations make more profits. This administration has never cared about public health. This new rule will destroy community health and increase health care costs for everyone.
Under President Trump, the EPA will stop considering lives saved when setting pollution limits and instead calculate only the cost to businesses. It’s counter to the agency’s mission statement, which says has a core responsibility to protect human health and the environment. nyti.ms/3Loch27
I stand in solidarity with the millions of Iranians demonstrating for freedom, democracy, and human rights, and I am horrified by the regime's use of violence as they desperately try to silence dissent.
I am in awe of the bravery of the Iranian people, who are standing up for their freedom against a brutal regime and decades of authoritarian, theocratic rule.
