Wishing everyone in Washington & around the world a joyful Vaisakhi as you celebrate community, abundance, & faith.
On Yom HaShoah, we honor the millions of Jewish lives lost during the Holocaust. May their memories always be a blessing.
Trump’s war in Iran is hurting Washingtonians. Across our community, gas now costs families over $5 per gallon.
Saddened to hear of the passing of my former colleague Eliot Engel. He was a dedicated public servant, strong defender of human rights abroad, & tireless advocate for the people of New York. My thoughts & prayers are with his family & community.
This is not going to lower your health care bills, rent, or gas prices.
The president isn’t focused on what really matters.
Trump’s budget slashes programs that help families afford health care, food, housing, & utilities. Here’s a breakdown of these cuts:
Today marks the 47th anniversary of the Taiwan Relations Act, which has been the foundation for strong U.S.-Taiwan relations.
Taiwan is one of our closest friends & trading partners, playing a critical role in WA’s economy. I will continue supporting a strong partnership between us.
The president pretends to be a champion of American manufacturing, but rather than buying American steel for his ballroom, he made a deal with the Europeans to donate foreign steel in exchange for lowering their tariffs.

Great to be in Woodinville & deliver nearly $6 million for projects to enhance traffic flow, protect our wildlife, & improve trails in our community.
Families are struggling with high prices in WA & across the country. Food, housing, health care, & energy costs have all gone up under Trump. Instead of lowering costs, Republicans in Congress continue to rubber stamp the president’s agenda.

Breathtaking! 🌘
Trump’s budget proposal does absolutely nothing to lower costs & would make life more expensive.
The president’s plan would slash programs that help families afford health care, food, housing, & utilities while increasing funding for foreign wars.

Meryl Streep is right. The SAVE America Act would make it harder for women to vote, requiring more paperwork for married women & others who changed their name. Women deserve to have their voices heard at the ballot box.
President Trump never had a plan or a strategy for this war he started & now is threatening tens of millions of innocent civilians.
Republicans must stand with Democrats & put a stop to this reckless war.
Small businesses are paying the price for tariffs. I held a roundtable with local Shopify merchants in Bellevue to learn how these policies are impacting them.
Hardworking Washington farmers have already taken the brunt of the president’s tariffs & are now paying more for fuel for their trucks & tractors because of the war in Iran.

Wishing a happy & joyful Easter to everyone celebrating in WA & around the world!
