As we move through these uncertain times, please know my office is here for Philly's immigrant communities. It is crucial that EVERYONE, regardless of their immigration status, knows they have rights and what they are!

Congratulations to all the workers and leaders at @ufcwlocal1776.bsky.social for their historic victory!
All workers deserve the right to unionize, a living wage, and fair treatment in the workplace.
While the Trump White House is claiming that SNAP food aid won’t be affected by his unconstitutional funding freeze, he should still immediately reverse that power grab – many vital services for Americans are at stake & he has NOT earned the benefit of the doubt.

Trump’s abuse of power now includes blocking food for kids, SNAP, Meals on Wheels, funding for police, firefighters, veterans & more. Congressional Democrats oppose Trump’s radical, unconstitutional power grab – will any Republicans?
This #InternationalHolocaustRemembranceDay, let us take pause to remember the millions of innocent souls, including six million Jewish people, who were murdered during the Holocaust.
In their memories, let us continue standing up against antisemitism and hate in every form.
Excited to see the Eagles soar all the way to the Super Bowl! GO BIRDS!!!

From the #Philadelphia Dept. of Revenue: DUE DATE EXTENDED! Philadelphia homeowners now have until February 28 to apply for the Low-Income Tax Freeze. Qualifying homeowners can freeze their Real Estate Tax bills permanently! Learn more: phila.gov/tax-freeze
He bragged “we did nothing” on guns on his first term and this looks like more of the same.
During National Gun Violence Survivors Week, I'm deeply disappointed to see President Trump close the Office of Gun Violence Prevention.
This is shameful and only moves our country backwards in the fight to save lives.

Whole Foods workers in Philadelphia and across the country deserve to have their right to form a union respected.
Alongside @scanlon.house.gov and @repdwightevans.bsky.social, I'm calling on Whole Foods to respect its employees’ rights ahead of Monday's election at the Whole Foods in Center City.
Ahead of this Sunday's matchup, @ivey.house.gov and I placed a friendly food bet on the NFC Championship. Check out the video to see what we DO agree on!
Bottom line: I'm looking forward to enjoying a Maryland Crab Bomb, because the Eagles are in it for the win!

We have 50 days to prevent a federal government shutdown. Tax cuts for the rich can WAIT.
My @housedemocrats.bsky.social colleagues & I are fighting to put #PeopleOverPolitics and protect hard-working American taxpayers.
On this solemn anniversary of the former #RoevWade decision, millions are still without access to essential health care because of the GOP's extreme agenda.
While reproductive health care is still safe & legal in Pennsylvania, today and every day I'm fighting to restore this critical right for ALL.

House Republicans support freeing violent felons who brutally attacked police officers on January 6. The Republican decision to release these dangerous criminals into our communities makes America less safe.
ICYMI: President Trump signed over 200 executive orders yesterday, including pardons for criminals who violently attacked police officers and tried to overturn an election.
One thing is starkly missing- an *actual* plan to lower health care and grocery prices for working families.

It’s day 1.
The president promised to lower costs, but just signed an executive action axing an effort to lower prescription drug costs.
He’s increasing costs on DAY 1! No one—except
Big Pharma—wants to pay more for medicine.
On his first day back in office, the convicted felon president has set loose criminals who violently attacked police officers and tried to overturn Pennsylvanians’ votes. I’m disgusted.
Today, as we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a specific quote of his comes to mind:
“Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”
