The SAVE America Act would require proof of citizenship documents that millions of Americans don't have, and that many can't afford to get.
Voter fraud in U.S. federal elections is extraordinarily rare, between 0.0003% and 0.0025% of votes cast, according to the Brennan Center for Justice. When fraud does occur, it is overwhelmingly committed by U.S. citizens, not undocumented immigrants.
Last night during the State of the Union, President Trump claimed the SAVE America Act will stop “illegal immigrants from voting.”
Here are the facts:
Individuals 55-64 terminated coverage at the highest levels among all age groups, followed by Pennsylvanians ages 26-34.
Congress has the ability to make health insurance affordable, but refuses to act and deliver relief to people across the country. There is nothing great about that.
At the State of the Union, President Trump told us about his "Great Healthcare Plan."
Meanwhile, by the end of the open enrollment period, one in five Pennie enrollees dropped their health insurance coverage because of cost concerns.
Your healthcare provider and some pharmacies can quickly and easily administer the MMR vaccine to prevent measles. It's safe and very effective. Don't risk the health of your child or someone else's, please.
The PA Dept. of Health has confirmed at least one case of measles in Chester County. This is a serious, highly infectious, and potentially life-threatening disease for those who are unvaccinated.
How it started vs how its going
Free speech is not protected only when it is popular or politically convenient. It Is protected precisely when it challenges those in power.
Paid family leave is one of the issues I have championed the most during my time in Congress. Today's hearing is a major step towards securing more leave for more people! Watch the hearing live below:

I'm headed back to D.C. this week, but my district staff will be on site with the staff of Rep. Johanny Cepeda-Freytiz to answer any questions you may have related to federal issues. Hope you'll swing by tomorrow from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in Wyomissing!
What else could we do with that $38 billion?
Fully fund the SNAP program for nearly 5 months.
Provide 18+ months of free school breakfast & lunch for every student.
2+ years of funding for improvements to military family housing.
Nearly 1/2 of the amount needed to expand ACA tax credits for 3 years
We are a nation in the midst of an affordability crisis. Seeing this administration give an additional $38+ billion to Kristi Noem's rogue, unchecked ICE is an immoral use of taxpayer funds.
Black History Month allows us to reflect on the NCAACP's activism that aided in guaranteeing all citizens the right to vote. The NAACP continues to fight to ensure the right to vote is upheld, understanding that voting is essential to a well-functioning democracy.
Childcare and elder care costs are astronomical and out of reach for many Americans. A key component of the @newdems.bsky.social affordability agenda is working to expand access to child and elder care so that families can afford to work, care for loved ones and plan for their future.
Chester & Berks County art teachers: please register your school by Thursday, March 12th, at the link in my bio.
A committee of judges will select one student’s artwork to hang in the U.S. Capitol building for a full year. The winning artist will also be invited to a celebration in Washington, D.C. this June.
Calling all high school students and art teachers! Do you live in the 6th District of Pennsylvania? If so, you are invited to participate in the Congressional Art Competition! This is an amazing opportunity to show the nation your creative talents.
Not only is the President telling you to not believe your eyes, he and his Cabinet are actively working to suppress data that explains their failed policies.
The administration is threatening to "discipline" nonpartisan researchers at the Fed for publishing an analysis showing Americans are paying 90% of the cost of President Trump's tariffs.
