Paying double the cost of SDSU tuition for child care is ridiculous and unsustainable for parents. We need to invest in a free, universal child care system that won’t only help parents but will also be a boon for our economy.

The first week of Donald Trump’s war cost the American people $11 billion. It’s obviously not over yet, and we’ll continue to spend a billion dollars a day that we could have invested in affordable child care, housing, or anything else productive.
I just visited Dilley and met with kids who are too scared and traumatized to eat and go to the bathroom – let alone play. It’s horrific and should alarm everyone in our country. We can’t let them do this in our name. We need to shut down Dilley.
