2) Instead of even trying to lower costs, Trump has:
🤷🏼♂️Launched trade wars
🤷🏼♂️Ended efforts to lower Rx prices
🤷🏼♂️Gave Elon our data and access to our federal payment system

1) The biggest issue facing families is that everyone is working harder than ever and it’s not paying off.
Hard work used to be enough. You could pay all your bills, save money, go on a vacation - but not anymore.
The difference between what was promised vs. what is happening couldn’t be more stark, and the betrayal is truly problematic for our families.
What is really happening 🧵👇🏼
Cincinnati State provides high-quality education and workforce training for so many in SW Ohio.
In our meeting with President Posey and other campus leaders, we discussed how federal funding supports their work—and why protecting it is so important in the months ahead.
This administration has created real uncertainty for federal workers. These workers aren’t just in DC, they're in SW Ohio and all over the country.
We’ll keep working with AFGE to protect their members and ensure the federal workforce has the resources they need to serve our local communities.
Our Blue Ash town hall on Saturday, 2/22, is at full capacity, but we’re hosting a virtual meeting on Sunday, 2/23 at 3pm for those who couldn’t attend in person.

I’ll be on Reddit tomorrow at 10 AM for an AMA.

We honored local students this weekend who competed in the Congressional App Challenge – 45 teams submitted apps this year!
Congratulations to Tre and Armaan, this year’s winners. They developed an alphabet learning app designed to help special education students master the alphabet.
There’s literally nothing he won’t do to avoid working on the economy.
Getting rid of the penny is one thing, but removing the guy in charge of good government and ethics? Terrible.
Antisemitism has no place in my district or anywhere. This kind of hatred and intimidation has to stop.
Not the path to peace.

We joined a bipartisan group to meet with the Ukrainian Parliament for a sobering update on Putin’s war.
They shared devastating stories of thousands of Ukrainian children taken.
We’ll work with our colleagues to push the U.S. State Department to sanction those who may be responsible.
Now they’re trying to steal your money from universities and hospitals.
It’s all illegal.
The courts have already halted their:
1) funding freeze
2) attacks on federal workers
3) attempt to end USAID, and
4) hacking into federal payment system.
It's all illegal.

As you talk about this with others, keep in mind two things:
1. Swastikas and cross burning aren’t protected speech in the US if the intent is to intimidate others.
2. This is definitely hate speech and it’s absolutely wrong.

Our team has answered over 700 calls this week—people are frustrated, worried, and want answers.
I’ve listened in, shared what I’m hearing, and laid out how we’re working to help.
We’re all in on this bill.
Unelected tech billionaires should never have that access to our federal payment systems.

Our next town hall will be on February 22nd in Blue Ash. We hope to see you there.

This has become a way for the wealthiest person alive, who gets billions in federal money, to hack the federal government data and payment system at the expense of the American people.
