Great to be at @sxswedu.com to talk about how I’m fighting to #EndHungerNow in every school across the country. If you missed it, you can watch my panel “Feeding Kids Like we Give a Damn” here:
The “we” he’s referring to here are his billionaire Big Oil donors. They’re the ones making money off his reckless, illegal war while life gets more expensive for the rest of us.
Trump has now spent nearly $12 billion on his reckless war with Iran. More than 3x what Congress allocates per year on helping struggling seniors & low-income families who can’t afford their home heating bills. The priorities of this White House & GOP Congress are a disgrace.
Spent the morning with Duffy, a volunteer with the Elder Services of Worcester, on his weekly route delivering nutritious meals to seniors living in Millbury as part of the annual Meals on Wheels #MarchForMeals! Thank you Duffy for all you do to keep our neighbors healthy & fed!
It’s day 11 of Trump’s reckless war with Iran, and he’s already wasted almost $12 BILLION dollars. That’s about 3x as much as what we spend on helping low-income families, especially seniors, heat their homes. Republicans keep choosing endless war over keeping American families healthy & warm.
NEWS: Today I'm announcing $12+ million in new funding for major projects in MA02: 🚸More childcare slots in Whitinsville 🏠More affordable housing in Worcester 🚒New fire truck for Conway 🚗Safer streets on Route 20 in Shrewsbury 🥤Better drinking water in Leicester ...check out the full list below!
Our priorities in this country are way out of whack—we are spending billions each day on reckless, unnecessary wars & tax breaks for billionaires, but we’re told we don't have enough to feed hungry kids in school. Hunger is a political choice.
Trump has spent more in 10 days on his reckless war in Iran than America spends in two years on community health centers providing medical care for low-income and uninsured Americans. Our priorities are out of whack in this country.
You’ve got to be kidding me. President Bone Spurs and his incompetent White House are floating the idea of sending other people’s sons, daughters, moms and dads to fight and die in a ground war with Iran. He swore he wouldn’t do this. He lied.
BARTIROMO: Trump had an interesting exchange about troops on the ground. Moms are worried we're gonna have a draft and see their kids get involved in this. What do you want to say about Trum's plan for troops on the ground? LEAVITT: President Trump wisely does not remove options from the table
