For decades, the Rochester Vet Center has been providing critical counseling services for veterans as they return to civilian life. I'm proud to work alongside them to ensure veterans have the resources and services they need after they so courageously served our nation.
Join me live tomorrow morning on @waytooearly.bsky.social with @alivitali.bsky.social where we'll discuss Trump's dangerous threats to mail-in voting.
Grateful for the neighbors in Fairport who came out to grab coffee with me and talk about their concerns. It's community engagement like this that inspires me to continue my work in Congress to deliver for our region.
We need hardworking teachers—they are leaders in our community, and they prepare our children for the future. Cutting off the resources students need to pursue a teaching degree puts our classrooms and our country's future at risk.
Social security is not a gift—it's a program we've paid into as Americans since we took our first job. This program sustains people who have done the hard work and put the time in. We cannot allow out-of-touch billionaires to rob our neighbors of their hard earned retirement.
For over 75 years, Genesee Global Group has been a trusted manufacturer for both local and international companies. I joined them today for a tour of their facility and to hear how we can best support their work in our community.
I joined County Executive Bello at the Rochester Airport today for a tour of their renovations and the Air Command Center. This team works tirelessly to keep our community's transportation hub running smoothly and safely.
I'm humbled to be recognized by the American Precision Optics Manufacturers Association as an honorary member. As co-founder and co-chair of the Optics and Photonics Caucus, I'm proud to be a partner & friend of the optics and photonics industry as they power discoveries that light up our world.
Our parents and grandparents earned a secure retirement. We must protect Medicare and Social Security—for them, and for the generations to come.
Grateful to seniors at St. John's Living for joining me for a conversation about threats they face from Trump's dangerous budget. Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security are all programs they rely on, and we cannot allow them to be decimated to pay for tax breaks for billionaires.
105 years ago today, the ratification of the 19th Amendment enshrined women’s right to vote. In Rochester—home to Susan B. Anthony—we carry that legacy forward by defending the right to vote for every American.
Many in our region will remember visiting the Ganondagan State Historic Site as a student and learning about what was one of the largest, most vital 17th-century Seneca towns. I stopped by for a tour and to hear about the work they're doing to continue this important education.
Housing, employment, mental health, childcare, food access, legal support, and financial literacy aren’t separate issues—they’re interconnected needs that require interconnected solutions. MyWayFinder represents that solution for our community.
I am always inspired by the displays of culture and community at St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Festival. Grateful for the chance to join our Ukrainian community and reaffirm my commitment to supporting them and Ukrainian families around the world during these challenging times.
Make no mistake, everyone will be effected by cuts to Medicare and Medicaid that place more stress on our healthcare system. We need to expand access to lifesaving care, not pull it further out of reach for our communities.
